Give this a try! Well-paced story take takes time delving into character interactions and dilemmas that follow. The characters feel more realistic because they are all working for their own goal, (not all blindly kind to the mc just becuz he's the mc) and as we follow the perspective of the mc we see how good or bad effects follow from those decisions by other characters. The issues that are created and how the mc navigates them draws a good story and makes me like the mc. Loads of side characters that make the story feel more dimensional and not solely focused around just the pair.
Sad cause there's only 2 volumes for this bl according to bakaupdates.
SO MANY BADASS FEMALE CHARACTERS FOR WHAT'S TYPICALLY A STEREOTYPICALLY-MALE ROLE IN MANGA
An action with a female mc, strong female hunters, male characters for typically more feminine roles (male assistants/proctors). Overall, instead of useless fanservice and excessive characterisation of individuals as a 'female' character (femme fatale, damsel in distress, manipulative or side roles reserved for female characters only etc.,) we get characters with personality, who also just happens to be a gal (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Back stories are getting revealed quite early which might mean the series won't have much material to stay ongoing in the long run tho...

I’m happy that waterside night is coming back in June, but the news of it ending soon after the hiatus is breaking my heart…
I’ve followed this since 2017 and I feel so empty now that jinwoo’s story is now complete. I feel like only just welcomed it back into my life and now it suddenly ended. However, I just want to thank the author for at least giving it an end (even though it was so rushed) because this started in 2016. That’s 8 years of dedication and happiness brought to readers like me who genuinely loved the characters. The fact the author came back from such a long hiatus, probably without the same hype as before or economic incentive has me grateful.
I wish I could see the characters more but maybe it’s time for the author to rest up. To one of the OG murim manhwas that was there from the start, I’ll miss u :((
