yeah this story was all around not very good, the characters were fairly unlikable and the plot jumped around the place.
again i’m not hating on anyone enjoying this but just because you enjoy smth that doesn’t mean it’s good. also jowoon having to be in the hospital just for haesoo to realize his feelings? bye.
like this was all around a bad story, it didn’t do anything for me :)

actually no, the plot was horrible as i said, maybe youre jared?
it was literally all over the place, haesoo was genuinely willing to come to terms with the toxicity within their relationship and they both were able to agree that they were unhealthy for eachother but then all of a sudden nvm i liked him all along?
it’s just so inconsistent. my logic is that the plot was terrible not unenjoyable they are two different things cmon now.
i believe you don’t understand what i’m saying it doesn’t have to be good to be enjoyable.

MY point was that it’s all subjective. Hate to break it to you but you’re in the minority here. You dislike it, whatever, but the way you phrase it: ‘I dislike it therefore horrible story’ irks me because only somebody with a superiority complex would say that. It also sounds like you’re salty because the story didn’t go how you wanted it to.
“...all of a sudden nvm i liked him all along?”
oof, you really shouldn’t have said that if you wanted to prove that you were not jared, 19. the author couldn’t have made haesoo’s feelings any more obvious. unless, you wanted another taehae sex scene where all haesoo does is think about is joowon.
LoH IS well crafted, it just crafted a narrative you didn’t like so you turned a blind eye to it.

i never said it was bad because i didn’t like it, i stated reasons as to why the story was bad, plot holes, no character development, flashbacks in awkward places, and buildup for a genuine relationship only for it to fall through out of no where
i’m not salty it didn’t “go my way” i wanted them all to separate, i wanted taku to go back to a japan after a healthy breakup but now he knows what love truly feels like.
i’m not some angry taku stan which is what you are making me out to be. i’m coming truly from an unbiased stance. i never had a “favorite ship” i think that haesoo’s relationship with taku had more potential than jowoon after learning their past
also the jared comment was just me being childish right back to you. haesoo’s feelings WEREN’T obvious. through the entire first half of the book we see haesoo wanting nothing more than to break away from this awful game he was playing with jowoon where neither of them were truly happy.
then all of a sudden he just changed his mind because of some flashbacks from high school? the only character that truly developed was taku.
and who cares if i’m the minority?? like am i supposed to feel intimidated by that? also you literally put words into my mouth, i never said “i dislike if therefore it’s bad” i said it’s bad bc the plot and characters are bad please read what i’m writing.

does anyone else think that this scene was really weird and out of place? like we’re finally learning more about cain and then boom sex scene.
and like all the toys and ears and blindfold is so out of character for them. it just felt really weird and i didn’t like it.
also i’m getting really tired of the r*pe and sa culture that bl has and continues to promote. even worse a lot of the fans excuse this behavior bc it’s bl or bc the characters are “hot”
this story isn’t good, i’m not saying you can’t enjoy it it’s just not good lol. i’m going to continue to read it solely to learn more about cain’s character but as far as “who ends up with who” i don’t really care.
i just wish jooin would not be the “ditzy bottom” who blames everything on himself and keeps giving his shit partner second chances.
also how come some ppl’s breaking point is seungho not recognizing na-kyum was kidnapped despite clear signs and not when seungho kidnapped, r*ped, and emotionally abused nk??
just a thought :/
this is just my reasoning but when it comes to seungho, we knew from the beginning he was "the villain". when he treated nakyum like shit in the beginning it didn't come as a surprise, but now me and a lot of other readers were hoping to see some character development. that's why it was so disappointing to see he's still stuck in his abusive ways.
also i don't really think of it as a breaking point, personally i was about to drop it the first time seungho r*ped nakyum but kept reading because i wanted to see in which direction the author would take the story, if nakyum would get revenge/happiness etc. and now when it's becoming clear the story's going in circles, people's had enough.
yeah i get that, people wanting him to develop i understand that like 100%, i genuinely think the storyline is great bc seungho is such a cool character, like i would watch a psychological breakdown video for him (i watched the one for azula from atla)
my sole issue with this is that r*pe and sa are such common themes in bl that people tend to promote, this behavior and romanticize it. or they say the characters aren’t that bad just bc “they’re so hot” i like the story and the art! but i don’t see this as a love story bc that’s now what it is...
it’s kind of like the KS discourse for me. i’m not comparing the manhwas in any way but i’m talking ab the fanbases lol
this seems kinda jumbled sorry, does it make sense
