I guess we are finally understanding Jin's mentality... he wants to help Jian like Jitae often did and still does, but he just doesn't have the resources and the power to do so unlike Jitae. I'm guessing this is why he is willing to join hands with Jitae even if he doesn't like him and is actually jealous of him, he thinks making him "win", like grant him to have Jian for himself. Its actually sad because its really not love, it's a selfish and sad possessiveness because he would rather see Jian emotionally and physically ruined and sick if it means that in a distant future it would make him only his.

I was a huge fan of the manga back then it was one of the first ones I gave 5 stars to I remember I wanted to buy the manga because I was so desperate for more but at the time it wasn't licensed in english (im not sure if it even is now??)
