Maybe it's both, and probably the novel has a better explanation for this.. but after reading the writer's post, it looks like the novel is extremely graphic and just by reading it in the webtoon I felt so anguished by Rapiel's death, Aeric's multiple assaults and miscarriages when he was homeless, the violence he had to suffer with Kloff, Aeric trying to take his life at least three times and being forced to bear and deliver six damn children back to back with a sick body so.. yeah definitely not for me, though I'm really curious about that butterfly effect haha

Fuck this was such a turn off, I really loved the story. It was so out of character from Sehun, why the fuck did they think it was a good idea to add this... It would've been much more enjoyable if at the very least they would've agreed on a safe word before all this, even if Yushin "enjoyed" that, this just looked like rape and that's it. At least with a safe word, even if it looked like non/dub con we could've gone "oh but Yushin didn't use the safe word he's good" but he was literally sobbing, screaming and pleading him to stop in his stupid one sided play... without a safe word, that's literally rape. And after reading 100 chapters and starting the novel, that doesn't even look like something Sehun would even do since he cherishes his precious Yeshin so much, now it just looks like the author wanted to appealed to a certain kind of audience.. disappointing.
