I think i put this on hold at like the beginning of season 2 maybe around half of it... is it worth picking this up? Is there any type of development in their relationship and in ML's shitty personality?

I was reading the novel of this because I was really into the story but I read in the comments that basically MC leads both of them on and doesn't set boundaries with neither and it really killed my expectations because I never even saw the esper as a romantic interest for MC...
It's always so funny to me how Ian is so desperate that he will always throw his shot, like this deal, the handjob, going to the rink, sharing private stuff and he probably doesnt even expect much... and eunsan will ALWAYS accept him
Even if it was a hard read especially because the continuous rape and manipulation i appreciate that it's a mafia/police/crime webtoon that doesn't do unnecessary copaganda like most korean webtoons do

I binge read the new season when i was thinking of dropping this because I saw on twitter what happened already in the korean raws oml
so I read the entire webtoon the other day as in korean the story already ended.. the esper gets the karma he deserves real bad and he works really hard, sacrificing and humiliating himself, to get back on mc good side... Still remembering the first chapters and how bad mc was hurt it still left a bitter taste in mouth. I was reading in the comments there that the webtoon adaption left important things out from the novel and the pace was super fast (it was like 70ish chapters) some readers were pretty upset about it, so maybe in the novel the esper grovels more or it was more satisfying idk in any way personality wise he still very much an arrogant, annoying, perverted and selfish asshole what changed is that he loves mc and isnt disgusted anymore so yeah still kinda lame... In case you're wondering, he gets completely forgiven in the very last chapter in which is when there's some (and only basically) smut scenes
