No no, you dont understand.. the blond and pretty him was him before the curse. At the end, that dark shade was his skin getting dark and “dying” because the body was trapped in the curse for so long.
We’re just feeling disappointed because we thought ML was a dark skin person but it was not. He is pale and blond at that, which is quite a plot twist if i may say.
