I agree as well. The reason why I don't really like Jennette is because of her neutrality. Athy had treated her so kindly in her past life yet she had stood by as Athy was dismissed by Claude. Although I believe that Jennette didn't know that Athy would be killed, she's still just as guilty for standing by.

Jennette was actualy poisoned and unconscious when Claude decided to kill Athy. She regained consciousness after Athy had died and thus could do nothing but grieve. But nonetheless she didnt retaliate much i belive.

I just asked someone who read the novel jennette was apparently poisoned by her aunt intentionally, and athy was framed for it. jennette was incapacitated at the time of athy's execution and used in this secret attempt to sabotage her unknowingly. so how could she have helped athy? lol

I want to ask if Jennette knows the truth? If yes, then what did she do to her aunt and Claude? Did she just cry, wallowing in guilt or did she even do something to bring justice to Athy's death? Just asking?

No based on what they have told me, she never found out her aunt had poisoned her nor that she was the one accusing athy. by the time she had recovered athy had been executed and could only hear the final results. even if she may have been upset or had her doubts after the fact, it mattered little by that point. claude wouldn't have gone back on his decisions nor grieved the death of his real daughter. her aunt must've played innocent seeing as how they never told me she had been caught in the original story. I comfort myself with the fact that bitch is already dead in the second timeline (￣皿￣) anyways.. there were circumstances clearly working against jennette at the time. it wasn't like she just stood around while all of this went down and let it all happen as people who dont like her just assume.

Ohh i see i didn't know she was unconscious when Athy was executed but I have to say I don't see much difference between the past Jennette and the current one they both seem to be innocent, sweet, passive and ignorant (its bad but like everyone starts off ignorant so I can't wait for her to realise what really goes on so she isn't in the dark about everything).
