Let's be honest here, rent a garbage was also somewhat fun to read at the beginning, when we didn't know how big of a looser kuzuya was, so I wouldn't hold my breath for this this manga, I might be wrong but most if not all titles with such a setup, with multiple girls and one guy, always turn shitty at some point, mostly because authors are prolonging the stories unnecessarily, and by doing so main characters will start to look bad, no one likes indecisive ppl in their stories.
If author decides to make this story as long as rent a shitty swamp, then for sure it will turn sour, will they won't they is fun only in small doses, and here we have a lot of girls, so maybe who will he pick is a better question?
While I absolutely hate when authors are adding more and more female characters as the story goes, at least in this case we all know what to expect from the start.
The only silver lining in this case that characters are not annoying, I would say that they are quite nice tbh, even mc is a decent person with a backbone, for now that is.

When fl tells this to her older cousin, he goes to see her mom, and makes a deal with her, that he will try to break them up, and marry her later, because he is older than her, and it would look to the society like it's him who is taking the advantage of her. Plus he flexes how rich he is, and that he will stop being a host.
Mom says something like their love won't last forever.
Basically her older cousin is obsessed creep who doesn't give a flying fk about her feelings, and tbh her mother doesn't care about them either, since her bias is more important to her than her daughter wishes.
I swear this manga... Like every single male character is incredibly creepy, they touch, grope, try to kiss fl constantly while she reacts like a wet noodle.
Zero boundaries, zero accountability for their actions, not even slap on the wrist.
And no it's also her own mother who basically doesn't give a fk that her daughter is happy, and wants to basically sell her daughter to someone who is obviously missing a few screws.

This is starting to give me creeps, she is constantly comparing two guys, and while she is currently saying she likes chiaki more, she is way too indecisive and after what she said to him few chapters back, in his shoes I would loose all my interest in her, plus the whole thing with teachers sister added to the mix is insane.
As for a teacher, he is a fking creep, seriously it looks like he wants her only because now she likes chiaki, and he wants him to be miserable.

I think they had fight of some sort when they became the class representative which brought them much closer than before when that resolved but no, they won’t a couple yet.
They were definitely together in a way, but they didn't properly say the words and make it official until just recently there.
Some authors add a rival to speed up the process of main couple, getting together, but in this one she is annoying and is constantly getting in the way, plus her guy friend is also fking things up all the time.
Rly this duo is so frustrating.
After this chapter I have a splendid idea for the ending of this manga, blondie should end up with this chick with glasses, Nanase with her friend, and yuni should be left behind by both of them, and realize how childish and unfair her behavior was this whole time.
31 chapters in and there is still nothing to like about yuni, nothing at all, she is selfish spoiled brat that doesn't know what she wants, and doesn't care about anyone but herself.
