What I'm saying is that in that man's situation, if the seme had verbally confronted him with the question and waited for an answer, the uke would have had no choice but to say no. Saying yes out loud would be psychologically impossible. There are situations where a person wants sex, but shame, guilt, physical disability, religious repression would make saying those words a cruel demand. It would be so mentally disruptive that they would be forced into the position of having to say no when they wanted to have intercourse very badly. In this way, many people spend their lives without the great pleasure of showing physical love. Sex is unimaginably complicated, and forcing people into black and white rules is a great injustice that I see happening in discussions here far too much.

You're right. Rape or consensual sex is much more complicated than how we see it. Like when uke said 'no' and everyone just assumed 'okay, that's rape.' What a load of bullshit.
