the reading comprehension for this story specifically is on the ground but i guess that’s what happens when a BL is popular. we had so many chapters of seo-ins backstory but now that we’re finally getting to yeongwoon’s, it’s considered filler just because it’s from the pov of a character you don’t like??? girl bye just drop it then

God this is so interesting. Victor and Head paint one picture of Henry, that he was cold and calculating and as a result Victor possibly doubted Henry’s intentions. But Heart and even Dick (lol) portray something else entirely, that he was truly in love with Victor—or at the very least he loved having sex with him, if you only believe Dick’s POV. I love that we’re getting such a nuanced view of a character that has already died, and we still don’t have enough information to say for certain what kind of man and lover Henry was. It might be as simple as him being a whore with a bias towards Victor, or maybe he was a devoted boyfriend, or maybe it was a lot more complicated than that (also, is Victor implying that he meant to shoot one of Henry’s “other lovers,” but his aim was off? Perhaps he unintentionally killed Henry?)
I’m really interested in seeing what comes out of Heart following Dick around. I think that’s where we’ll get a bigger clue about Henry’s potential lovers, if Henry’s Dick reacts to anyone the way it does to Victor lol.
And I really, really want to see the background stories of all three corpses and if they’ll develop their own feelings towards Victor, if they’re capable of that. We know Heart loves him, but can he separate how he feels from what Henry feels? And right now, Head is more of a disembodied (lol) plot device than an actual character, so I’m curious to see if he’ll develop beyond that or if Victor will just behead him because he doesn’t like what he represents. Dick is a comedic relief character atp but I do see him possibly falling for Victor in the future—even without Henry’s dick he’s clearly attracted to him, and he gives second ML vibes lol.
I’m so obsessed with this story and I hope we get multiple seasons. Praying the writing remains this good because this early stage rock solid so far. yaoi that makes you think….

(and please don’t say he’s an unreliable narrator because that also feels like a half assed excuse)
