I just got turned off from the 5th chapter on, I didn't think it'd be complete extortion and misery. I usually don't care if something is toxic because I can get over those parts, but she completely abused and endoctrinated him, I couldn't even ignore it. The smut was ok if you were able to ignore the rape, how miserable the guy was and how disturbing she was. The story had some potential, there are some great religious sexual stories. Had it only been that then it would've been okay..
They had to make her a straight up abuser, tormenting that poor ML... I can't even continue to read I'm scared for him
I just can't like the MC, I hate whenever an author makes the MC immature and very naive. Even kids are not like that anymore, i know that i can't expect something realistic from a story like this but it would've been soo good! The ML is written decently, he isn't an asshole, he has his beliefs, I really hate when readers don't try to see every point of view and can't understand that the MC is not just bubbly and naive, he's not well written AT ALL lol
yup agreed!! but i also don't think him and ml go well together at all. i don't hate either but they lowkey dont have good chemistry to me

It's the fact that the author doesn't even try to make him even barely conscious of what is happening. He's not a kid, it's just so unrealistic I hate it
ML seems to be going down to be an hypocrite tho, and he could've rejected the "naive" MC's advances tho. So no, he is not good, the story is being forcefully driven. Nothing here screams "let's be reasonable adults" from A to the Z

Y'all. Y'all. If only it was just centered on them in highschool, i love the contrast between their lives and personalities so much, i love love love them soo much. I really hope everything gets solved in the current timeframe

This is so good. I've never been so emotional reading something. Everything stems from his past, from everything they had to endure. The fact that the mc showed up now and is trying to help him and understand him breaks my heart. The way he is dealing with his trauma and the effect they have on the present him is so well portrayed. I may dislike the red hair's character as he is annoying, but I think the point of the story is to make us dislike him and understand him in the process, just as the mc is doing. It’s so well written and beautifully portrayed
The disappointment in my face after seeing the authors other works is crazy. I just knew I recognized this artstyle and kind of writing from somewhere
