I absolutely forgot that Dan can't swim so for real he was just going to off himself. And two, man have I not reached points like this. This made me realize how much we actually have to invest in others if only fir our own needs. I hope the road up for Dan isn't one of suffering.

I really have no attachment to him. Oddly enough it feels like oh let's extend the story type of character. Also I'm highly suspicious of him so I guess it's a bigger hurdle than I thought
