EXACTLY. i told my friends this and they screamed at me. i genuinely think remy’s a great guy but their relationship makes me anxious. i think remy has feelings for ash, but ash’s feelings are stronger? if that makes sense. it seems one sided but another part of me just wants to say it’s his calm nature. i don’t know, in the previous chapter he talked about how he didn’t wanna hurt ash’s feelings as far as indulging into a relationship with a kid. “but then he’ll cry”. idk maybe i’m overthinking

Okay guys don’t know if it’s relevant but I read the reviews on Novelupdate and I think the story writing for the comic is both genius and perhaps doing more than it truly needs? I didn’t read the novel myself so idk if the second aspect is actually incorporated in the original story or not.
So basically the thing about this story is except for the ending extras the entire plot is really just everything through the eyes of the MC (Asher, or Xia Xincheng). So basically this is translated here as we totally can read Asher and his behaviour but not at all the ML’s (Remington, or -preferably- Yan Youming)
The thing that I don’t know if it’s really in the original story is how anxious it’s making us. Reviews call ML hesitant because of specific chunks of descriptions but we personally here can see/read NOTHIN ;;;; So whether his passiveness and indulging character is a mask or not to hide his hesitation or if it’s just that his behaviour isn’t well translated and it’s just making us anxious, as of now there are no hints.
Tbh I want to read the novel now hahaha I kinda get why it probably is popular, it looks hella poetic and realistic (even this comic is pretty poetic/realistic, so the story writing must be good)
Also I’m just plain curious about the truth lol and properly compare—
