As much as I LOVE Lucas fanservice (him being sweet and jealous - y'all all loved that eye candy too), I was just shouting "Before romance, get the Dad's memory back! Let me swoon for their romance without worry!~" ( ̄∇ ̄")

I am not against open relationships in BL... but I think I began reading this story with the wrong mindset. I began reading this thinking it was going to be sweet and fluffy (with a power bottom) AND I WAS EXPECTING THIS TO BE A SEXUALLY OPEN BOTTOM TURNING TO MUSH AS HE FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE TOP AND THEY BECOME A HORNY MONOGAMOUS COUPLE. But... the end of chapter two gave me a bad taste in my mouth, implying that IF THEY HAD NOT HAD THE CONVERSATION OF THE BOTTOM NOT HAVING SEX WITH OTHERS, HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT ANYWAY DESPITE DATING THE TOP. I'm sorry, I'm not angry... I was just in the wrong mindset as I was reading this and the actual characters on paper have not settled with me yet... I'm okay with open sexual activities in BL (though I prefer monogamy) but I think I had a problem with the first couple because they weren't romantic; they have more of a friends with benefits relationship in the process of being romantic - which is fine, but I NEED THE PROCESS! lol

I feel like I have to repeat myself, I am not angry nor do I hate the story. But I just wanted to verbalize why I felt a bit frustrated with the first couple. And a sidenote: I am in my fluffy and wholesome phase of BL right now... that's why I felt bitter about this couple. When I'm in my smutty phase, I'd love the first couple...

Anyone agree? Anyone? No? Okay... lol

I kind of agree with you, I really like them bc shows some 'reality' idk, the characters are different, uke has another way to process things he is slower in realizing his feelings, love is a new field to him.

I want to know too the rest of their story, how they start to built the relationship. We got to know uke's sex life and way of thinking but little about seme's would be interesting to see his perspective-.-

I get your frustration, but sure it's the case 'seme fell first but uke fell harder' just that we don't get to see it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ sorry my English

Why is it any if your business? Get your nose outta there. Keep yourself in your lane.

It doesn't matter if you want to get back together or not! It doesn't matter if you feel like your breakup was abrupt or bad! IT'S NOT YOUR BUSINESS. Be a good looking douchebag in your own story - trust me, we have plenty of handsome jerk main leads and we love them. But as a third wheel, I will cut you.

I think it's super interesting that we are given two sides to the story, seeing how the stalker-girl believes her love to be unrequited while Itsuki sees her as a scary person. I also think it's a great development that Itsuki has this unique ability. Itsuki is a very mysterious but righteous kind of character.

However, I have a few problems with how Itsuki presented himself this chapter (chapter 15). I find that he is in his right to be upset at the stalker-girl. Yet, he was not right to direct his anger towards Tarou. Yes, Tarou is very idealistic but Tarou is not on the same level as the stalker-girl. He is not perfect but he does try his best to do what he can for his girlfriend. Itsuki's attitude was very arrogant, and although it made sense, it was unnecessary to direct judgement on Tarou who did not understand that Itsuki was being stalked and who went with the story he knew (that this girl was like him and had unrequited love). Also, I find that his statement of "Tarou-kun will be the cause of your death" to be a bit distasteful. I don't know what he saw but from my interpretation of his vision on chapter 15.1, it seemed to be accidental. Even if it wasn't an accident, I don't like the way he blames Tarou for her death. Unless he has an actual hand in her death, it seems to me to be completely inappropriate to say Tarou is the cause of her death. Itsuki was in his right to say his truth and beliefs, but much of Itsuki says is also flawed and arrogant and condemning. Itsuki needs to be careful about his words because I don't think he understands that words can have a stronger impact than actions. If he is willing to blame Tarou for Umi's potential death (accidental or otherwise), he needs to take responsibility for his words that can hurt Tarou or even lead the stalker-girl to maybe hurt herself or other people. Even if he is righteous, even if what he is saying true, Itsuki needs to see the influence of his words. He saw the stalker-girl as someone as someone very scary but to me... he was also very scary to me this chapter.

Lol, sorry for this essay. I just found Itsuki to be a bit distasteful this chapter. I know many people like Itsuki who are righteous, but these same people often blame people and act hypocritical when their own moral and ethics are used against them. I hope the next chapters can clarify the friction happening and Itsuki's words don't cause any danger between the 4 of them.

I like this story but this chapter was really offputting for me. The abusive nature of the teacher is bad enough but her family?! They treated the teacher like she was just another bully in the playground! Nuh-uh! She is more than just a bully. Nemu, a 3-4 year old, is supposed to put the teacher in her place? Why don't you do it? Why are you just keeping the status quo? The only thing worse than a normal bully is a bully who has power, a bully who is an adult. Why has the mother allowed this woman to not only hurt her older children but also allowed this woman to teach their youngest daughter? How has the father forgiven her so easily? I'm not even talking about how the family is of high status. If I were from a poor house (lol I am), I would be enraged if a teacher put their hands on my daughter, simply to keep their pride. An adult should know better. I won't say to my 3 year old "go teach that teacher a lesson" no!

Sorry, end of rant. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

... April 12, 2020 4:39 pm

This is a long rant. You've been warned! Lol

Don't get mad at me, y'all... but is the uke bisexual or straight?

Let's be real, having bisexual characters and representation is awesome. And straight people fall in love with people of the same sex, it does happen even if that person still identifies as straight. Sexuality is not so black and white, okay?

HOWEVER, I am honestly curious about the uke. The extra (end of chapter 4) shows us that his "stash"/porn is of women, no mention of any men. That is completely fine. But this made me wonder about his self-identified sexuality. I'm not making any judgments on him, I was honestly curious. But this isn't the point I will rant about.

THEN, this made me think about how I kinda hate the straight guy trope. The "I'm not gay but I am gay only for you" trope. I hate this because it can have negative repercussions and outlooks to people who are bisexual. It's fine to self identify as straight and have relationships with people of the same sex, but what rubs me the wrong way is saying "I don't like men, but I like you because you are you." Isn't that partner's own self identity as a man really important to who they are as a person? I don't know, I just really dislike the stigma a lot of this trope plays into the opposition of bisexuality. I love when people transcend sexuality and love people for who they are but sometimes... I wish yaoi would stop stigmatizing topics such as bisexuality. What's wrong with having gay people fall in love? What's wrong with having bisexual people fall in love? Why are straight people always the focus, as if they are exotic animals that are meant to be won over and trained? I want stories about men falling in love with men. I want gay lovers. I want toxic masculinity to be thrown away. Straight people are great (I'm straight too lol) but I want to hear the stories about love from people who are often marginalized. Having love stories from characters who are straight who by chance fall in love with a person of the same sex is great but it's feels like I'm watching an exotic animal being conquered lol. I don't know, am I making this too big of a deal? Am I thinking too much? Lol, I tend to do that.

But what can I say? This is only fictional and I'm in too deep into BL culture that I tend to brush off whatever causes me discomfort. Nevertheless, I love this story and I will come back to it. I was not making judgments to stories that have this trope, I was simply just saying that I'm kinda turned off by it... but I'm turned off by rape and I read alot of those stories so... lol

Sorry for this long rant, I just needed to get this off my back.

    alleyooper April 12, 2020 4:59 pm

Lol, I think that this is relationship is one where it's like, "I'm not gay but if it's you, I don't mind."

    FaithDmazing April 12, 2020 5:34 pm

As a bisexual, I really appreciate this rant. I agree with you.

    supremecurt April 12, 2020 5:47 pm

I agree with this so much.

    Quoting you,
"This is only fictional and I'm in too deep into BL culture that I tend to brush off whatever causes me discomfort. Nevertheless, I love this story and I will come back to it. I was not making judgments to stories that have this trope, I was simply just saying that I'm kinda turned off by it... but I'm turned off by rape and I read alot of those stories so... lol,"
that whole paragraph is my entire BL journey. I hope authors start turning to a different direction in regards to the whole "straight" trope in BL (and the entire rape to love trope, which is another species of its own)

How is it any of your business to tell him?! YOU ARE THE FREAKING MAN WHO LEFT THIS CINNAMON ROLL! YOU HAVE NO SAY AND DO NOT GET TO FEEL JEALOUS. I understand the problem about being pressured into marrying and having a "normal" life, but you chose to leave! You did not choose to stay! YOU DON'T HAVE ANY MORE BUSINESS IN THEIR BUSINESS. WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU GAIN FROM THIS? If this is your way of getting their attention to apologize, YOU CAN SUCK ON MY TOE! There is nothing you need from them and nothing they need from you! Leave my babies alone! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Sorry, rant over

I think he want to make them break up cause he is not happy with his life so no one else can be happy. he seemed that kind of person.

... April 5, 2020 2:51 pm

Shizuku was the MVP this chapter! She was not taking any of her mother's lies! She was ready to pack and leave AND she ratted him out! She was not willing miscommunication to occur; she knows better! I love her so much.

And the grandma! Did y'all see her carry BOTH Shizuku and Minato?! I have a hard enough time carrying my own boobs around. I really appreciate that she's there to support her son and his mate. I won't even say "at the expense of her company" because she knows what good for her company. If they cut ties with the rapist's dad, she has enough insight that the company won't be harmed!

This chapter was just glorious. I love that sex was not the goal and cure-all. I love that Hazuki got angry at Naoto. I love that there was communication and the reiteration that it's not the duty of an omega to not interfere with an alpha's happiness, but it is the duty of both of them to make each other happy. I love that we are actually going to deal with this rapist; and it doesn't seem like it will only end with an apology (because I know if Naoto did this alone, he'd forgive that rapist with a single apology). I love that Naoto is vulnerable but he is NOT weak. I love that in this genre, we are actually dealing with rape as what it is: a terrible thing, not JUST SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS. I loved this chapter and I love this manga.

    XxEvenSongxX April 5, 2020 2:54 pm

Agreed! I’m so happy to finally come across a yaoi manga where there is actually COMMUNICATION. THIS IS KEY TO ALL RELATIONSHIPS PEOPLE (/TДT)/

This chapter legit made me cry. Like, I felt so much for Amami-chan. They aren't dating but to be cornered by someone who is completely aware of your feelings then to find out that person is sleeping with other people (and yet Hachi won't allow Amami-chan to make him feel jealous?!), this pisses me off! I think it's really traumatic and hurtful to make someone you are attracted to CRY AND FEEL INSECURE SIMPLY BECAUSE IT TURNS YOU ON! Hachi really is unattractive right now and I hope they play him HARD because if they can get Hachi to feel even a fraction of what he put Amami-chan through, it will be a success. Hachi needs to learn how to compromise! Amami-chan is willing to compromise, we've seen him compromise to everything Hachi put him through! This is the most annoyed I've been at a hot guy in a long time!

Rant completed.
