For the way it started, I was worried. But boy, WAS I SUPER WRONG! This is so fluffy and one of the few lovely and consensual kinky sex I've read thus far! I want more yaoi like this! Kinky but with a great plot! Smut is at it's best when both partners are happy and healthy, physically and mentally. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I don't like the way this ended... but it made sense the way it ended. Both characters have an obsession over the other. Their obsessions are twisted secretly with affections for one another. Those affections are so secret they don't understand themselves that they desire for each other, not only for carnal reasons, but for more.
For this story to have an open-ended conclusion makes sense (and I think it works beautifully). The characters don't even realize their affections for each other, of course they don't know where their own story is headed. The ended provides realistic insight into a relationship based on the slightest obsessive affection blanketed by twisted carnal desire: you don't know what will happen. However, the story doesn't simply just end. It ends with the seme calling for the uke's name and the uke giving his own jacket to the seme as he sleeps. This ending suggests that despite both characters not knowing what will happen, they both care for each other and will try in the future to stay together. The secret affections, unbeknownst to themselves are seeping out and (as hopeful to the readers and to the characters) will triumph and guide their actions in order for them to stay together. The two don't realize their affections but the ending makes us hopeful to wish more for them. I think this ending, though unsatisfactory, is beautiful and just as frustrating as real and ambiguous relationships.
