But I see things from the mom's side. Tolerance is better than intolerance and homophobia but we should empathize with those who cannot see as we do (even if we strongly disagree). I don't know her circumstances; maybe she had some type of trauma regarding homosexuals, maybe she was simply trying to do "what was best" for her son, maybe she's just homophobic. I don't know but hopefully she can come to at least tolerance of the circumstances.
No one teaches you how to act in that situation (being a "straight" parent raising a potentially "homosexual" child in an intolerant society/culture) so parents' first reactions are bound to be "panic first, think later"... Unfortunately it doesn't look like there was any difference in this mom's subsequent "reactions", or that they even properly discussed it.
Yep, very true. I totally agree 1000%. As a parent, you would like to do what is best for your child but there is no right answer. Some parents, like you said, panic and think later because they have no idea how to act. It's unfortunate but I personally feel that it's an understandable mistake that has terrible repercussions. It is a terrible thing to do as a parent but putting myself in that mother's place, in that country, in that time period, and in the same exact circumstances as that mother, it would be hard to say what I would do as well...
I feel so bad for red head (i'm sorry, i forgot his name). He just admires Taemin and wants to be his friend... and he's being ignored... lol it's so sad, I know the feeling too much ahaha
But man, THAT KISS! Wheeeeew!~ Ok, the first time I read it, I was reading it in front of my family and I had to scroll by it so fast. When I made sure no one was around, I went back to that sucker and stared at it for a good 10-15 seconds!!!!! And his smile melted my heart as much as it did to Taemin!
I can't wait for what happens next. I am looking forward to the romance and for Taemin's mischief. With that look of his and his personality, he can cause some real havoc real soon and I can't wait!!!!!!

ahaha. It doesn't make sense now that the website changed this manga, but when I read and commented a year ago, the manga "The Duke's Daughter is the Knight Captain's Young Wife" wasn't the actual story posted. Another manga was posted in its place. But it seems like they fixed that problem.

I kinda want the girl to change though... she is the stereotypical shoujo girl who I don't like because she is a little shallow (which i hope changes), she is indecisive, and she is too worried about romance... I mean, have some thought into other things too please. Be somewhat realistic or eccentric or something so I can like you more. lol jk

Ummm... I wasn't victim blaming her though... lol. I definitely called her shallow but I did not say she deserved what bullying she got. She probably DOES have her reasons for focusing on someone's looks. Honestly, I'm fine if she focuses on someone's looks.
BUT the reason I called her shallow wasn't because she focused on someone's looks. It was because she was shallow as a character. She doesn't have any motivation as a character. She's not eccentric. She's not that interesting of a character. In fact, like I mentioned, she's a really typical character. An archetype that, in fact, is a bit boring when you've read stories like this over and over and over again. THOUGH... this is just my opinion.
I could care less whether she ONLY cared about looks or not. I just want her to have more volume as a character. I just want her to develop as a person. Be focused on obtaining something or having a goal. I just felt that her character was a bit empty. Or flat. Or shallow. Whatever people want to call it.

Everyone is saying (even i) that this is another Killing Stalking but I seem to be getting a different feeling...
I don't know if y'all know or remember this but there was this older webtoon: Banquet Box. (if you don't know, check it out. it was memorable and messed up! but unfortunately, i haven't seen updates in years... so sorry if i get you hooked... )
This webtoon gives me feelings that is similar to Banquet Box. So all in all, this is a cross between Killing Stalking and Banquet Box... NEW NAME (i made it up, if you don't get my drift lol) Killing Box! LOL JK JK JK
But really, I could be totally wrong about the Banquet Box thing and the story may not be even close to that... whatever ahaha
But it was interesting. It seems that it can develop so much!!!! SO MUCH POTENTIAL I want more!!!!
Maybe because it has stalker-ish feels but you're right both webcomics had different plot
