As someone who also writes my own stories and stuff, I understand that desire (as a writer) to add drama and obstacles for the protagonist to overcome. But as a reader, this is too much. There's too many things going on in this single plot and I feel like I'm drowning in the lack of a moving plot and the continuing drama are the waves that push me down. Hmmm... like, I can't focus. There's so many things trying to attract my attention that I'm unable to catch onto the necessity of all these plot points. Additionally, I have to say that Nera is a great villainess, seeing as she annoys us all. However, I find that many of these characters (the fl included) are flat; or more specifically, they are shallower than they should be. These characters have so much potential for great depth but something about them just cuts us off from truly forming a connection with them as characters we should root for. I don't know, maybe I'm just a bit annoyed that I feel like the plot isn't moving in the way and pace I want; but overall, I am feeling a bit stifled from this story. In no way am I saying this story is bad! But I think all stories kind of hit this wall, a time in a plot where "what else should happen so I can keep this story going?!" is asked by the author. Passing this wall and maintaining readers' interests is truly difficult. Hopefully we get some development (plot and character development) that will advance the story in a way where readers won't feel like they are wasting their time.
Lol, sorry for the TedTalk. I'm a bit on edge because of my own creative juices flowing.

Sooo... I really like the concept of a character doing things with an unexpected positive outcome and accidentally doing the world some good lol. Please, if you have any recommendations, please throw them this way!
I'll go first!
This story reminded me of Tearmoon Empire Story. The premise is a bit different and it is a manga, but the concept of a character unknowingly raising their reputation through comedic misunderstandings and epic timing is on par. Honestly, I find Tearmoon Empire Story to execute its story/plot a bit more fluidly than this one, but that isn't to say this story was bad.
Please, if anyone has any good suggestions, this girl is ready to read them all!

Wow... *insert most sarcastic voice we can all muster* I can't wait to see how the author pretends to believe that they have tricked us into thinking the ML will redeem himself this time.
News flash! Even if they fall in love "naturally" in this lifetime, never forget that the ML emperor killed the FL and her lovely family members. I will never forgive him!
I love her family! Please, protect your family, okay?

So... don't you hate it when someone won't take no for an answer? When someone can't get a clue? When all the social cues and common sense in the world goes "don't do it", yet someone still does it? Yeah, I'm talkin' to you Phillip. Step off, you creep.
Lol. But isn't the main couple so fun? The miscommunication and heart throbbing moments between the two feel so fun to witness. Lol, that sounds weird but somehow, I don't feel annoyed. They feel like a sincere couple and it's often difficult for me to find a couple, especially one in a manga/manhwa that is smut, that are developed in a way where I empathize with them. I'm looking forward to where this goes. Please, let them be happy! Let all the supporting characters be happy too! They are all so good!

I've never wanted a priest, fiction and nonfiction, to burn so badly... I know what he is trying to do is "for the better good" but SHE IS A FREAKING CHILD. YOU KNOW THE HISTORY OF JEWEL EYED CHILDREN. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BEAR THEIR PROBLEMS BECAUSE YOU HAVE DEAD FISH EYES. NOW, STOP BEING A PRICK AND DO YOUR JOB.
But, now that I've gotten my anger out, I love the familial relationship. It might seem unrealistic, seeing that the relationship between the father and Estrella is going by quickly. BUT, I think there is a connection between them that can't be explained. In the same way the king's memories of her mother lost, their connection can't be explained. It can only be felt and experienced.

I'm actually very glad that Estella is quite angry and honest about her annoyance towards the prince. She is in a dangerous position and doesn't have time to be enjoying gifts and jewels. He practically threatened her to take this position and thus, he is not someone she can trust. I'm glad she's being very honest about her distrust and opposition towards his affection. I'm glad she's not just swooning because of his appearance and his LITTLE BIT OF AFFECTION. She has her pride still intact.
Tbh, I love Tonton, but we all know the most likely romantic ML is the prince. I wonder how the story will take this romantic and political journey.
So... this is how neglicence and lack of affection feels. Did you get that, Duke? This is how it feels to have all your efforts to be noticed, just a bit, thrown into your face. Curt words, cold demeanor, rash exits. This is how negligence feels. It doesn't matter if you respect your children or if you resent them. You have neglected CHILDREN who are your own flesh and blood. You have withheld affection and attention from them, due to your so-desired "neutrality". As someone who understands that negligence is painful, I felt pity for the Duke. But just understand that respect and love goes both ways. When you lose it, don't expect it back so easily. Don't expect your negligence to lead to your children desiring you. Understand that when someone lets go of a child's hand, despite the child fighting for that hand, the child who grows will learn to never ask for that hand again even if you hold it out. Learn from your past but don't expect to be forgiven and forgotten. The pain is everlasting.
I'm so frustrated because I felt bad for the Duke, but then I got even angrier when I remembered that he turned away from his daughter (whom he is trying to ask for attention from) and let her die. I feel bad for him because I see his pain, but your slight pinch of pain doesn't equate to your daughter literally being executed and being forced to fend for herself for the second time.
I LOVE WHAT YOU JUST WROTE!! PERIODT
made me cry n shi (´༎ρ༎`)
