People are so hard to forgive Ciel, but he's like the only one who knows Irene's past and all. My one grip with isekai / rebirth stories are FL are so quick to adapt to her new identities, that they completely forgot about their origin, which makes me think, yknow, ML didn't know anything about past-you that makes you, you, get it? He loves you now because you've been reborn or possessed the most beautiful woman on the empire or whatever, but if you were just an ordinary-looking korean woman overworked in a black company, would he still love you? #justsayin

Yes! I absolutely agree! She's gorgeous now, but he would have loved her no matter how plain she may have looked. And that's true love. It's so rare to see that be able to be manifested in stories. Loving someone for their core and not just their looks.
