yikes i also feel like the author follows the same formula?? kinda like its one guy whos really go with the flow with what happens to himself but "nice"/can't stand other people getting hurt (and other characters see this as a good thing for some reason) and a crazy murderer and it just feels very fake/off
idk i liked this story but after reading some of the other two stories it ruined this one for me a bit so idk if i would recommend the others bc before reading them i thought this one was really nice

Yeah I stopped reading sound of sugar cubes bc it was kind of Effy bc the author chose to make it a romance (?) Than a thriller imo. It went down the drain for me when the rapist (who should have been the antagonist) met mc like 20 chapters in and I just knew author would play down on the gang rape it pissed me off so much. Also the "guy only treats protagonists with bear minimum human decency ,(and everyone else like shit)" is so overrated. Btw I agree with everything you said I hope this manhwa continues to stay great
