Yes absolutely its peak if u can detach gods from humans perspective lenses and see them as omnipresent entities because a lot of ppl hate ennead for the incesty relationships and apply human logic to them.
That kinda stuff doesn't bother me. The only hard line I have is romanticized rape. Stories like Roses & Champagne, Codename Anastasia, Honey Trouble... no. If they aren't human, I can differentiate that, but I'd still be uncomfy with a rape scene being used as lazy writing for a smut scene. If it's not like that, I'll give it a try. I got about 4 weeks until fall semester starts so I have a little extra free time.
Im glad you can see it thru that pov! About the rape. Its not romanticized but it is part of the plot heavily for most of s1 ending n middle so I hope u will mind the warnings as they come. Unlike the manhwas you mentioned its not romanticized and drawn as uncomfortable as it should be. I can give u heads up on the scenes without divulging much of spoilers. Basically our mc is raped by err a lot of ppl lets say...that even ml but thats an important plot point which you'll understand when u come across it and it is based off actual mythological lore and its also not romanticized neither done by ml out of intention. Also nobody here is morally white n black except the main antagonist who we collectively hate but even his character is written intricately... ennead is complex tbh and author references a lot of meaning and symbolism direct from actual ancient mythology so if you like ancient Egyptian ennead/mythology you'll like this too. Mc and ml are endgame even tho we are going thru super rough patch rn. I hope u give this a try :D good luck!

So... the "incest" really didn't bother me. All life, entities or not, start from it. Even us, especially if people believe in Adam and Eve so I couldn't care less about that. Made it to 151. I think I'm done with it. I got the gist of it, but I'm burned out. Every physical scene has been rape. I appreciate the TWs. I skipped those pages that had warnings, but not all of them did. He's been SA-ed at last 3 times by individual people and seemingly twice in a gang sense. I can see how it happened but that kind of victimization of Set... it's too much for me. And Set ending up in a relationship with his nephew/rapist Horus... especially when he clearly still loves his wife... i can't support that. There's only 1 story where I was okay with that happening, and that's because the character was high on medication after being seriously injured so genuinely didn't realize what he was doing or with whom. He immediately apologized once sobered up but the victim kept denying it happened so he couldn't really make amends. So yeah. I can see why you guys like it. I read those 151 chapters by the next morning. But now that I've stopped, I have no interest in going back. It is a good story though. I'll recommend it to those who may like it.

Ofc its absolutely understandable if ennead didnt live upto your expectations and the SA in s1 and s2 were really triggering but could u perhaps hold on a bit longer because youve alrdy made it halfway to recent raws and s3 really picks up the plot and thickens it. Regarding horus n Seth believe me its only horis whos been genuine towards Seth from the start. He didnt rape Seth out of his own will. According to irl legend Seth planned to do it to horus to humiliate him but ended up with horus's semen in his belly [theres lore for that u can google] . Here the same thing happened but mojito tweaked details. As for why horus SA'ed Seth... he was not in his right mind srsly and was under the magical influence of a sinister mirror. Without spoiling a lot, this mirror makes you fall in love with the person whos reflection u see in it. But if the person u see is same as the person u love in your heart than this mirror intensifies your primal desires to the max where u cant help it. If the person reflected is not same then your soul splits n a part of u gets trapped so the part outside can forcefully fall for the person reflected in mirror. Hathor wanted to use this mirror on horus but jorus saw Seth in it n since he alrdy loved him the mirror didn trap horus but made him SA him. Remember even tho horus did it without his own consent n will. Seth had crept in his tenth with full intention to rape horus. So like I said nobody is rightfully good in ennead. Also these are gods not humans so our moral lense doesn't even apply to them. Also I too skipped the gang grape chapters but they had to happen cuz in all The.devades of Seth's tyranny innocent women children n people suffered at the hands of caravan men without Seth interfering. I think these SA's were part of the tribulation as he was suppose to feel every bit of pain felt by all the souls he did wrong. Again i dont condone none of what happened to him but im just saying why it did.
Horuseth still have a long way to go but s3 really develops them as a pair and other characters journeys as well. Although the pacing is slow. Many of us who are passionate about Egyptian mythology enjoyed ennead for how mojito takes the actual lore and creates a version of it in their way. Horus is ofc not without faults but out of everyone whos done wrong to Seth and vice Verva hes the only one whos been genuine towards Seth n loves him dearly. Nepthys also isnt a victim btw. We've been hinted at how she's been complicit with Osiris all along but yeah thats yet to unfold. I could tell u more but then it'd be spoilers so ill refrain. Thanks for taking my advice and giving this a try. If u feel like u could give it another shot by all means I hope u do and if u dont thats fine too !!

I really enjoyed this story. Perfect? No... but a happy, fluffy story about healing is always welcomed. I think the last chapter does a great job of wrapping things up and clearing up the point of the story. Haekyeong, who was suffering because of his one-sided crush on a parasite, is able to heal & grow mentally, emotionally, and professionally through an unfair love affair with Kwonlim.
I can't bear a season break. We didn't have one between season 1 and 2. Please.... I need His Majesty to find Abel before he burns down the kingdom. I don't wanna wait for season 3

I'm writing this first so if anyone replies, it doesn't show what I've written for the spoiler. I was intrigued with this story. I supported the throuple if it went that way. Wanted to see how they'd write the bond between them. I don't like the younger brother. Don't really like either brother but the younger one more so. I get it. I feel bad for him, but I don't like him. He's just not the kind of character I like.
Both chapters are trigger warned with "Dubious Consent." Chapter 18 is dubious but by chapter 19, the kid ends up fully raping the guide (who's recovering from just being shot). He says, "No..." "Stop..." "Take it out..." and the kid refuses to stop. Instead he thanks the guide, saying how it's okay because he's going to fall for him eventually.

I'm glad to see your comment because I was really wondering after seeing the comments, why people were just glassing over the fact he was assaulted and making it okay, I really dislike mangas, when they get like this, they didn't portray it to be nonconsensual, fully when it started since he listened to him so much. Now, I just dislike the whole thing. It's one thing if it was like a dark, sad story, but that's not what they're given. Im dropping this.

Now the older brother, who had SA charges pressed to the younger, is going to manipulate/use coercion to get the mc to sleep with him. It makes him gross too. I have been really disappointed the story took this turn, but these rapey stories get the most sales so creators are making more of them. If you aren't already, try Our Sunny Days. So wholesome and good. No SA whatsoever...
I love Our sunny days. And yes grape does come up in a lot but ones like these that clearly show the plot isnt going to be anything to keep you is just trash. And thanks for letting me know ahead of time. I felt the younger brother was just an immature child that I did not fine loveable as they were trying to portray. And the older gave me keep you captive vibe. Overall the story felt like trash but I was reading to see if it would develop. Clearly it will not lol
I completely agree. Something like "A Night to Remember," "Ouroboros," "MADK," or "Haunted by Desire".... how the trauma was used makes sense. How the characters and the plot developed around it was really well done. This story? I'm sad I was buying it on Tappytoon. I want my points back! Lol... And I know it's kinda petty at this point, but their uniforms.... did you find them ugly too?? I had a feeling the story wasn't going to be good after seeing the character designs and the uniform. I've only read haunted by desire. But now I'm going to read madk and a night to remember. So thank you lol. But yes like it was at least pivotal to the story. What are like a trauma to get over or something to develop by. And that's what I need to have a good story. Yes, I did not care for the uniforms, and I know when it comes to Manga, different kinds of artists. So different strokes for different folks and I can ignore what art look like if the story is good. And since the story wasn't good, I didn't care for the art, it was just both blah. But I got 2 new mangas to look at so thank you.
