Stories like this should have some sort of warning up near the title so that readers who are upset by sexual violence have some advanced warning.

Some people could be victims of sexual violence themselves and seeing sexual violence in a manga can be triggering, you abominable twat. peggy

That doesn't make sense either. Actually being triggered is serious psychological discomfort by a stimulus, usually caused by some kind of past trauma. For example, when someone with PTSD from a war gets flashbacks after hearing gunshots. Just being offended by something is not the same as being triggered, and people should not use the word that way.
Being easily offended to something is response to immaturity. You want other people to account for you not controlling your own emotions? Sure someone may be a victim of sexual violence, and it would be a tragedy for anyone to experience something such as that. But the world does not deserve to be covered with pillows.
Toss around "trigger" so much it looses its meaning. I’m kinda concerned that the phrasing of “triggered,” a relatively newly-recognized phenomenon, is jumping past its intended usage. “Triggered” is becoming the new “codependent,” in that it’s a word that’s getting overused and used to mean something other than the original meaning, and therefore starts to mean nothing.
This website is infamous for Yaoi and smut manga, it's not a "safe space" don't be an asshole reverberating opinions that you didn't make yourself.

Definitely not getting into this debate. For future reference though, you can check the tags. LaLa

The tags on this site are random, unreliable, and hard to find.
That's why I think the warning needs to be more prominently featured.
Most manga sites make a point of clearly labeling stories that contain: rape/sexual violence, child molestation (shota or lolli), bestiality, necrophilia, etc...
It just seems like a small thing the site could do to protect readers from content the find offensive or personally triggering.
I mean, if I had been a victim of a sexual assault, I imagine I wouldn't want to read about them and would appreciate someone making it easy for me to spot a story that contained that kind of content.

I don't get why you brought this point up. You're arguing here that people are using the word "triggered" in reference to anger, right? But the post you're responding to in this message is using the word in it's original context. They said "a rape victim might see this and be triggered", in other words the rape victim might be caused psychological discomfort by the stimulus inherent in reading about a traumatic situation that they themselves have been through. They weren't saying "triggered" in place of angered, so it really seems like you just went on a tangent about the misuse of the word when they weren't misusing it.

One of the most common causes of PTSD among Americans is sexual assault.
Another common one is car accidents and obviously combat is an issue among those who have served in the military.
The sad reality is that sexual assault is far too common, which is why stories such as this could trigger someone.
Moreover, some people simply do not want to read stories that depict sexual violence.
It seems to me that adding very clear and consistent warnings about content such as: sexual violence, child molestation, necrophilia, bestiality, scatology, etc... would be a very small thing the site administrators could do to protect readers from content they either find objectionable and/or personally upsetting.

Also, if you had been paying attention, my recommendation was for the site administrators to label the various mangas they post.
So if you have a problem with them posting Lezhin's work, perhaps you should take your own advice and complain to them about it.
It seems like that would be something you'd enjoy, since venting your anger at others is obviously something you enjoy.

Thanks for the reiteration. The thesis was that OP want some kind of warning if a story has the possibility of sexual violence, and yet there already is one. If any more specificity was needed then look at the tags, those are "warning" themselves.
The antithesis is in concern of someone who might be "upset" by such genres to which others have replied that it's not the job of others to prevent someone from being upset under their own circumstances.

I don't believe they were reiterating? The anon's point in saying "And that's the general warning given to all yaoi on mangago." wasn't to confirm that the warning is put on all yaoi, it was to point out that since that warning is on all yaoi it lacks impact. They're trying to say that the OP's idea is still not being met with just that. You've pointed out the tags again, but they have already replied to that point of yours saying that the rape tag isn't in the top tags. Personally, i agree with you in that the yellow text warning is enough, i just want to make sure both parties are understanding each other.

It's not in the top tags nor is there a warning of rape in the description. People generally do not read the comments until after reading a manga if they don't want the manga to be spoiled @Anonymous

This is such an asinine argument...smh. **Yaoi** is the warning; all the cautionary warning the reader needs because it's a conspicuously adults only genre due to its mature and sexual content, but especially for its inherent depictions of rape in various contexts. It is extremely unlikely that someone will have their trauma triggered because they "accidentally" stumbled upon and read a Yaoi manga with rape. If someone is reading Yaoi is because they know what they're doing and what they're getting into.

If somebody has such serious thematic concerns because of personal aversion or trauma, then logically that person would make everything possible to confirm the nature and content of a manga before they engage with it, and that means:
    1) reading the manga's tags
    2) the Top Tags/ readers' tags
    3) the title of readers' lists that contain the manga
    4) AND the readers' comments. I would even argue that people with such aversions or traumas shouldn't even be reading Yaoi to begin with. If a person chooses not to do everything possible to know the content of the manga prior reading it, then it's on them, not on Mangago, which does a good enough job as it is of providing as much information to the reader as possible. There is a thing called personal responsibility, you know? Can't blame Mangago or other sites like it for a reader's idiocy and/or laziness.

That is incorrect. Tags on this site are not unreliable or hard to find. All the information you need can be found on the main page of the manga from top to bottom:

    1) First, you check the "genre" Yaoi, shota, bara, mature, tragedy, etc.
    2) You can click on "my rating" to check the Popular tags for the manga or
    3) You can scroll down to the "Comments" section, which usually doesn't contain spoiler as they tend to be story summaries, which not surprisingly for this manga, has the word rape all over the place, or
    4) You can look at "Top Tags" on the right-hand side, right next to "Comments" or
    5) You can check "These lists have this manga" which is right above "Top Tags", or
    6) If not satisfied with any of the above, you can scroll down to the "Topics" and read users' posts, which for this manga you can see are inundated with rape comments.

Now, I would agree that doing all of the above may seem tedious to the average reader, but the regular Yaoi reader knows what Yaoi means, that Yaoi is indeed all the "cautionary warning" they need, and engages the genre with the appropriate expectations; but for those readers that profess to have a strong aversion to specific mature themes such as smut, rape, incest, shota, etc. then it is incumbent upon themselves to do whatever is necessary to confirm the nature and content of the Manga before they read it; if they choose not to do something as simple as checking tags or readers' comments, even though the information is readily available, then they have no basis for complaint.
