
They should come up with a way to tag DJs that lets people know whether or not you need to read the original to follow their plots. That way people wouldn't miss out on great stories just because they weren't familiar with the series the characters were borrowed from. In this case, the story was surprisingly sweet and you don't need to know anything about Gintama to enjoy it, but I'm guessing a lot of people who would like the story will pass it by because of the Gintama DJ title.
This story surprised me. It ended up being very moving and made me think about the way our insecurities hold us back, as well as how many opportunities we miss.
