I remember saying months ago that the fact for Jaekyung to be such a asshole must be due to a lack of care when he was young. I couldn’t have been so right. But there must be other things. He can’t be such a jerk with Dan just because he has familial issues. I guess he had a crush with someone who looked like Dan, he trusted him but the guy betrayed him and that opened ancient wounds... After that Jaekyung shut his rare feelings in himself. Just hope Dan will find a way with him without acting like a little lamb who’s going to be eaten by the Wolf.
Fillers again ! I guess this story will be different from the novel. I’m not fan of this. I will take a break and read it later. I just hope those fillers won’t make a too much different story with the original.

First, in the novel Ben is fine and the empress didn’t do anything to him. Second, the omega woman and her lover didn’t appear. Third, if like in all omegaverse stories there are heat inductor or inhibitor there is no deal about perfume or something like that.
In the novel, after meeting Antoine (the little red haired omega), Etienne start to make his move to take down the empress (his mother). He ask Antoine to gather omegas to influence favorably the omega people in the social circles. Antoine start to develop feelings toward Etienne but will be kindly rejected by Etienne. No angst, Antoine is a very good guy and will become a great ally. But thanks to that confession, Etienne realise his feelings and confess to Rishar. They become a real couple but they keep their relation secret. Later, the emperor who really want to make amend about his indifference toward Etienne, send him with Rishar on a diplomatic mission and a battle against monsters. He want Etienne to prove his value to everyone because the empress made him a puppet. The emperor want Etienne - who he thinks is a beta - to be the crown prince. They succeed. But the shitty empress and her father try to kill Rishar during the battle.They failed but thanks to that, Etienne with his father’s help can bring down the empress and her family.
The only thing remains is the truth about Etienne real gender. He fears his father’s reaction. Theodore (the bastard who try to seduce Etienne every time he see him) force Etienne into heat with drug. Nothing bad happens thanks to Rishar but the cat is out the bag : the real gender and Etienne&Rishar relationship. The emperor realise all the past mistakes and the injustice of the situation and finally accept Etienne like he is and make him crown prince. They reconcile and the emperor, for the first time in his life, took Etienne in his arms and hug him tenderly. //
That's a very very short resume. The last side stories aren’t all translated but in some spoilers I read Etienne and Rishar had a son and a baby girl.^^

I guess the author started the side stories after the readers of the main story said how frustrated they were. I mean I was like that. Even if the main story was surprising but great, I find it too short and messed up. So I’m glad there are side stories. Just hope it won’t be too long or too much drama.

What bothers me the most is that I don’t see even the tiniest beginning of a change in Jaekyung’s character. Always the same scumbag. I keep hoping it will change in the hext chapters but I’m not very optimistic...
Remind me BJ Alex, chapters 45 and 46. Except the roles are reversed this time. It was a little disappointing because Jaekyung seemed to start reflect a very little till Dan’s proposition... So, I guess they will have sex but that won’t be satisfying for neither of them. Dan will feel just like shit and Jaekyung won’t progress in his rehabilitation. Just hope it won’t last long because I don’t want Dan to suffer anymore... ╥﹏╥
I come back to see how the story was going but I’m disappointed. This is still too much differences from the novel ! It’s nearly another story ! In the novel Rishar and Ettie had to distance themselves but not because of a fight, just to avoid suspicion. Rishar is reluctant but understand it’s necessary.
I remembered that they distance themselves a bit before in the Manhwa. When the prince said they should break up. With seeing the shock of Rishar's face, the prince directly ensured him that it's not that kind of break-up, but to avoid suspicion. And in latest chapter, it's because of a fight.
