Shen Yu has so much self-resistance, he loves him but knows he's wronged him and that the Prince doesn't deserve him.
Usually, when there's an asshole character, people will hate them, but many will defend them because of their looks. But the hate of the Princes really pulls through in the comments.

I see many people who trash on Jiwon's character (rightfully so) but I despise MD almost as much as him. During the side story, many people hated Chanwoo for dating other people, and being insensitive towards MD's feelings. I agree, Chanwoo was a bit insensitive, but he can date whoever he wants.
MD, however... Using abandonment as an (indirect) threat to force Chanwoo to participate in the threesome was extremely manipulative of him, especially knowing he was abused in his past relationships.
Personally I don't despise jiwon at all but I definitely agree with you about MD I got really annoyed by him during the side story yet I saw everyone simping for him
that side story made me get annoyed at MD espcially after knowing what chanwoo was goung thriguh

so you dont like people to change..even life gives us second chance so why not human...if the emperor changes than thats good....because we learn from our mistakes and try to never make same mistake again.
If he was actually sorry, he wouldnt be trying to make up with Yu-er without trying to guilt-trip him. I believe in second chances, but he's been given so many chances to let Yu-er explain, and proceeds to get mad when Yu-er is frustrated at him.

I can judge how I wish to. I understand people can change, but some people are far from redeemable. In MY opinion, it's almost absurd for him to have a genuine character development. I don't mind, I just want Yu-er to remain the strong and independent character he is. I am judging him for what he is currently, not the person he may change to be in the future.

There are many situation could force someone to change either they want it or not. Love kindness lonelines, those three couldnt be describe with solid meaning but it affect people greatly. It could save you or drown you.
