She's his safe person. That's why he is so possessive of her, she's the only one and he is afraid of being all by himself again. He also know that her kindness for others might get her swept away by someone else. He's just an insecure child who has finally come out from the feeling of neglect and disgust by other people and he's afraid that it will all come back. She just need to make him understand that no matter what she will be there for him even if she has other people on her side he will be her priority

Honestly I think she would be okay without sex if he communicates with her for real and talk it out but he's just running away. Also he doesn't want to do any romantic stuff with her. Doing more than watching TV is annoying for him. I think if they had like more dates and stuff like that not having sex would be okay for her because she would still feel live while now it just feels like he's distancing himself emotionally and physically in any way possible and he doesn't even want to have a discussion.
Yeah, i think that's what frustrates me the most about this too. Like it's not simply because they're not having sex. If they're both okay with that, then no problem. But in this case it's that one of them wants to have sex and the other for some reason doesn't, so now they're at odds. The best thing to do is communicate, but he refuses to do that. And then he won't even show her love in other ways like bring her out to dates, maybe even complimenting her when she puts her hair in a different way or wears something new... like show her love at least. This guy does absolutely nothing. It's so sad.
