this is so peak i’m not even joking, from the plots to the characters. Rupert was never evil, but the ones she tried so hard to protect ended up betraying her. she’s amazing, and so is rupert and his entire character, they portrayed him so well. and tori not being forgotten just made it even more peak, i love lali so much its concerning how i let this marinate for 4 years

lali is also selfless, she doesn’t hesitate to take things that could esclate to the point where rupert would be in a bad situation. when she attempted, she thought it would be better for her to get out of his way. despite hating him, she began to see he was not the villain and was unable to direct her hatred at anything but herself. for being so ignorant to her “family’s” crimes. but she’s never at fault for that, that sick count really said “i wanted you to live as my daughter, protect in this house” like for fucks sake?? manipulating a child’s emotions just for that damned revenge of yours… he acts so fucking hypocritical im surprised she didn’t slaughter him. he calls her his daughter but never thought of her as family. lali is borederline a saint for not chopping him up for treason.
