Not only the story is good, but the characters are also very well written. Such an interesing world to explore. Really, really liked this. The dialogue between the MCs was especially good, even at the start of their relationship. Great twist. Great art. There really isn't any flaw.

SPOILER
Though I feel like the "lie" ability wasn't completely explored or well used. If someone is a "False" even simple affirmations can't be said, so how did Jinsol even have a social/school life? If the teachers ask them If they cheated on the exam, he would have to either cheat at every exam to be able to answer "No" or get caught without cheating, and other stuff like that. Living as a "false" would be pretty much impossible. So some of the dialogue doesn't make sense considering Jinsol, and later MC were "False", but I guess that writing an authentic false wouldn't have been exploitable in a story (imagine the chaos of the dialogue lol).

Is the author doing well?? Is this on hiatus?

When will Cirrus get into his therapy era ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Was this inspired by the drama or was the drama inspired by this? Either way, some things were done better in the drama (i heard there was a novel too?) while others were done better in the manga.
I personnaly didn't find Hira sympathetic at all in this, he was, like, an actual creep. I'd actually call the cops. In the drama he's much "cuter" even the "agressive" scene wasn't that bad lol.
Hira in the drama is less creepy, he stilll is a stalker but he's much less scary, here he's actually scaring me.
I also liked the way the dialogues were written in the drama (Hira tells the firework quote directly to Kiyoi, the nun thing was better too...).
On the other hand this Hira and Kiyoi are much less sympathetic, but that makes them more interesting, albeit less likeable.

Both drama and this manga is direct adaptations of a light novel by the same name, while drama changes/cuts some scene for both censoring and budget reasons, manga follows the novel word by word, it's kinda refreshing to see different opinions cause I prefer this over the drama,in my opinion this manga puts their melancholy and yearning into visuals really well but each to their own I guess

Totally agree with you besides I feel the manga does take the essence of the novel and displays it better. I feel this is more "accurate" than the drama. I love this too. The feelings are more real specially the part in which he is unsure of what do to because he feels responsible for the other person's feelings even when he is in love with Kiyoi

I read this so many times already lmao
I guess my major issues lie within the romance. The characters have chemistry, it's not a problem on that part (though she did have more with Kenny at the start, I'm still living for their friendship). It's more about the way it was written, like, instead of giving us 10 chapters of the MC running away from a gang, or the dumb lazy epilogues, getting more into the developpement of their romance would have been much more interesting.
I disagree with the people who say that she only ended with Arwin because he was the one who made a move on her. It was explicitely stated that she liked him the most while reading the novel. Although the other two were so very handsome and would joke around or have wholesome moments with her, she never reacted the way she did for Arwin (blushing). I don't think that this attraction came from Arwin making moves on her, but more because Arwin was not interested in Ibelin, so she stopped seeing him as a novel character meanwhile she still saw the other two as Ibelin's fish.
Anyways, although I would have liked to see more of the actual "romance", this is still very entertaining.
Latte is an especially well written female character. I especially love the fact that not once is she presented as "not like other girls" or even called so by the male lead. She's funny, witty, smart, lovely. She doesn't excel in every aspect of her life, she doesn't attract every male character that sees her. She's a breath of fresh air. Most FLs are actually closer to Ibelin (Attracting everyone, directly stated as not like other girls, excelling in many things, having that "boys be loving me girls be hating me" persona...), so it was good to see that type of chatacter get shattered by someone much more geniuine.

My actual big issue was with the shift of the artstyle especially concerning Arwin. His best panel was for me the one in the festival where Latte hugs him. He looks tall, his shoulders look broad, he looks handsome. After that chapter he looks somewhere between a twink and a lesbian, which I guess isn't a bad thing, but I would have loved if the author had kept that "manly" design instead of making him look so effeminate. In most of the later panels he looks like a child...

a twink and a lesbian gerl i'm fkn howling here lmaoooo ☠ but totally agree, arwin, uh, sort of had a... not a glow down, more like, his whole aura did change, which is great, but? them shoulders man dude deaged and turned into a pubescent teen

Xun please do realize that Ao will follow you even at the world's end. I'm living for the way the characters are actually communicating. Like, there's actual communication, it's not about misunderstandings. Shang and halfie commuicate their feelings well, even if Shang has a tsundere side, Ao and Xun communicate to, the issue is more on Xun's side, his depressingly pessimistic self doesn't seem to realize to what extent Ao loves him no matter how much he shows him :((

Top wanted to be seen with bottom to annoy grandpa, that was the plot right? Plus they both were famous, so how come no one cared about them dating around? Imagine someone like Cha Eun Woo dating around with a Chaebol, how could anyone not notice? Even if it's not CEW but some rookie actor or idol, it's so weird to me how this wasn't adressed.
The ending is kinda meh. I wanted to see top getting deseperate, and some lovey dovey stuff when they got together. Not a fan. Very underwhelmed...
I'm just glad the father died tbh he was a terrible person

    Mioro April 6, 2024 12:42 am

This kinda tick me off too but I think their logic is grandpa would interject with every and all news abt them and because MC wasn't famous at the time word didn't go around abt him dating someone. The corporate industry knew the Top was involved w a man but the entertainment industry just knew that MC had a sponsor, not necessarily who it was

Jœjœ April 3, 2024 9:17 pm

I loved every single second of that slap lol
Still don't understand why the author ruined Jaekyung so much, he wasn't set up as such an unempathetic and disgustingly stupid character at first (helped than much more than he had to, spent time with granny...).
Now it's time for him to chase Dan I guess.
As someone pointed out by the way the plot might be stupid, the characters might be dumb and annoying, but the story's still entertaining af (especially when you don't take it seriously)

Not a fan of the new art style the old one looked much better (to me ofc everyone has their own opinion about it)

I like the fact that Skylar noticed that Cirrus was uncomfortable without him having to explicitly say or show it. Plus I found it kinda funny how he held back Cirrus yet he was the one to punch in the end lol

    Ahjucyd March 22, 2024 11:25 pm

no it was cirrus who held skylar

    fenisme March 22, 2024 11:27 pm

it was cirrus who held his hand actually
