To sell out your own people for a girl Eclis sure is one hell of a simp, especially since there could technically be other ways. I don't like the writing on this part. He is described as a very intelligent person. Probably the smartest one out of all the main leads as he's the one who realised MC's goal (though he's the one she ACTUALLY invested in) and he's the one who casually manipulated her. It has been said several times that he's smart, and that he does plan out things. I'm pretty confused as to HOW he even thought that this would be a good idea. Hate him. Forever will. That guy is not a victim of Yvonne's, he's a perpetrator.

But then again at the same time she was "terrible" to him. She gave him shelter and took care of him, sure, but she has always been cold towards him, spent weeks without even seeing him although she knew that he was getting bullied (which made him act "sick" for attention). I guess techniccally Eclis sensed that too, her behaviour was fickle, she'd gift him especially expensive and precious stuff, yet she wasn't ever emotionnally invested and never prioritized him.
That is the reason he became the way he is. This is probably all just to get her kicked out of the douchy, so that everyone will turn their backs on her, and he, and he alone will be with her.
Eclis will probably end up trying to hurt the other male leads, and even FL herself if she completely turns her back on him.

I agree, I think Eclis's color is what it is because it's a psycho obsession. Between his hatred of the empire and desire for revenge combined with his devotion to Penelope, yet he stays at 99% and can't say he loves her, I think he's warped and it's going to come down to a showdown between him and Kallisto. I just hope whatever took hold of Reynold to be a dick doesn't take hold of him as well, and he's able to see through the BS... I'm getting so sick of seeing the true villainess use magic to brainwash the main ML, even if it's temporary. =_=

This was perfect. The best isekai manhwa, really. The art style is sooooo good too. It's really such an amazingly written story.
But there is ONE MAJOR PART of the story that is written in such a stupid way.
Sunshine learned that Yona and the others could only escape if their completed their quests BEFORE the eclipse, with the major quest being Yona marrying the emperor. However, the Emperor first thought when he learned that was "I can't let her marry me because I don't deserve her, but there's this bastard cousin who could marry her in my stead". So then he decided to do the most RIDICULOUSLY complicated things and fail, like 50 dofferent times, because he couldn't get the timing of the rebellion right, because people kept dying left and right etc...
So the question is, WHY DIDN’T HE JUST MARRY YONA HIMSELF if all he wanted was to end her suffering? After 10 attempts of trying to get the timing and stuff right, he couldn't just give up and decide to find a way to marry her himself? Wouldn't it be much easier? Like, put aside everything, just end her suffering, and even if he didn't want her to long for him after she quit the game, all he had to do was keeping her secluded in some faraway palace and one beautiful day call her back and marry her.
It's just that simple yet he didn't even think of this once.
Another thing is why is Dooyak the Empress at the end? It was said in the documentary that Yona was unable to have children. In that case, when the universe was restored, Dooyak already wasn't the Emrpess and was imprisoned (because the whole talisman story had already happened). That would mean that the Emperor after reuniting woth Yona decided to appoint Dooyak (who was imprisoned) as his empress and let her live her love with the musician? That doesn't make any sense. Or maybe I didn't get the story right and Yona and Sunshine were always, well, Yona and Sunshine and the empress was never sent to prison? Then couldn't Sunshine just make Yona his empress and let Dooyak free to live her life with the man she loved?
But aside from that, great story!!

Yeh I think that would have been an easy way to end the game, but I think for him to achive that ending he had to interact with yona, and yona would fall in love with him I each playthroughs even tho he acted as a villain, so she would refused to leave the world of games because of her love for the emperor, and in each timeline when emporer advanced towards yona, doha would start a rebellion, because of his feelings for ranhee. So his methods of ending the game was somewhat correct, and the game ended when the emperor died and not when she would have become the empress.

Omg I read this a while ago but if I remember correctly it was specified that the rebellion truly started because of the emperor himself, he kept tempting him, he just had to start over more than 100 times because he didn't get the timing right. All that because he wanted the dude to take his place as emperor and to marry Yona as he thought that he wasn't good enough. But there are a million ways of preventing the rebellion, like, just send the dude on a mission far away or lock him up. And as I said, he could have done the same to Yona, locked her up far away from danger and just married her one day. She wouldn't have loved him, and he would achieve what he truly wanted, freeing her from the game. His method wasn't incorrect it was just overly complicated and he could have ended it much sooner if the story was logical I guess lol

Wait i lowkey think u got this completely wrong bcs the ORIGINAL quest to complete was to become empress but it changed after the first playthrough when our guy became admin and it ended up becoming the actual quest which was for a rebellion to happen. This makes more sense considering how at the end when he dies, that means the quest is complete, the game came to s complete stop. If it was the other quest of our girl marrying daho, then the game wldnt have ended immediately when he killed the emperor cus he still didnt turn our girl as the empress yet. The king originally tht that the true quest was to turn her into the empress snd plotted the rebellion, but the rebellion itself ended up js becoming the final quest overall not our girl becoming empress. This wld make more sense as to why our girl strived for it, and plus it wldnt have mattered if she ended up marrying him as empress bcs he knew she wld go back anyways, so why go through the difficulty of making it be daho.

I'm not worrying for Dan, Potato or whathever he is can clear him.
I bet our mc asshole was bullied during his childhood (Junmin either was the bully or whitnessed him getting bullied), he was weak, and couldn't defend himself. He then decided to try martial arts, because he wanted to be stronger and protect himself, however he was SAed by someone who had authority over him/was stronger than him, which made him even more filled with hatred with his weak self and also develop his jinx of asserting power/dominance over someone, MAYBE to remember how weak he was in the past, and to make him win his match and to reassure himself that he isn't who he was anymore.
If this is truly what happened then he actually hates Dan because he is weak, barely makes any effort to change (from his POV) and is dependant on him. He probably hates Dan because he sees his weak self within him. And as he spends more time with Dan he notices again and again how weak and naïve Dan is, making him hate him even more.
The way I see this Jaekyung will lose his match, blame Dan/Dan will blame himself. Jaekyung will only start having actual feelings for Dan when because of a certain turn of events Dan ends up being the one who protects Jaekyung, or maybe Dan will just get enough of his shit and rebel/leave or call him out.
The problem is that this shouldn't happen 50 chapters in.
If you think that Mixi is forcing Shang then we probably haven't read the same manhua, or you just forgot the story while reading S2. Shang isn't a pushover, he can actually be pretty agressive and snap back, and he'd do it if he didn't want Mixi, though his tsundere personality makes him bicker with Mixi (He's the only one he bickers with btw), he still loves him so so much.
Also my heart was dying when Ao and Xun "broke up". MY PARENTTTS. But idk if I'm satisfied with the very fast resolution of the conflict, it even feels like Xun didn't give up, he just gave in. Also, HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT AO ONLY LOVES YOU AND WILL NEVER EVEN LOOK TOWARDS ANYONE ELSE AFTER SO MANY YEARS XUN WAKE UP.
Last thing, Ao seems much more talkative than before lol I guess I'm happy since he just used to be in the decor back then and barely talk.
