He doesn't regret it. He doesn't regret letting Erwin die. There was no sign of that. Also he never regrets anything. And since it's in the past, it's useless to regret it now bc there is no way to change it.
Especially that i can relate with chapter 2 when my "blank episode" begin. It was really hard to function and having an understanding partner definitely will help you to get through it.
