The art is beautiful the characters and their dynamics are very realistic but this whole plot is a fever dream lmao the manhwa “Dolphin Fairy” involves a similar story (dolphin turns into a man) but its way less disturbing to read (since him being a shapeshifter is not a sex thing, the mc didn’t know at first the dolphin could shapeshift, it had been years since he transformed so he had been a human for a long time before meeting him and he’s not his literal pet like in this manhwa) but i’m still very attached to this haha

i’m only reading this because im interested in the plot the sex part makes me sick this is rape (whether he enjoys it or even begs for isn’t relevant he isn’t doing it of his own free will) and the fact that it’s non consensual bdsm is so disappointing i’m not saying that if this was vanilla it’d be less disturbing but the act itself is an exchange of pain and both should feel completely comfortable and safe when doing it (the uke is so untrustworthy like he purposely chose a safe word he’d never use unless it was way too extreme??) don’t worry you’re not being rude :) to me sex isn’t the plot here (it’s a theme or a genre) it’s more like the medium that starts the story and that forces the seme to deal with his struggles (uncovering the uke’s identity and potentially some repressed past trauma / accepting himself / handling his low self esteem and his father’s verbal abuse etc.) A manhwa where the bdsm is the main plot would be for example « Make a Pet Out of a Cactus ».
