This is really great. I love how things are unfolding. Also from the start, i keep on hinking that maybe Kaia and Elkin meet before when Kaia suddenly disappear in the middle of the war.
Also about that dude Therion? I think the general that sent him is conspiring something against Kaia and the emperor. I think he have a grudge with Kaia disappearing in the middle of war where in they lost so many lives that time.
And about Kaia, i think she really do care for her comrades, it's just she doesn't understamd her feelings because from what i observed, she doesn't know warmth (of family or something). And maybe she live her life seeing people having ulterior motives or something. That's why she was curious about Elkin.
Anyways, i think that the moment Elkin will know that the sun knight is Kaia, it will break my heart. :'((((
Oh, i also agree with that comment about people lashing out at Elkin for being a northerner but even Elkin also lost his loved ones. But the truth is, all of them lost something or someone. :'((
I agree with a lot of what you are saying, except I believe she met his Parents. Not Elkin himself. (During war he was seprated from them, and later heard they died from an attack) I think her missing time in the war she was being cared for by his parents and when the army found her location, they slaughtered everyone in the name of a rescue mission.

These past few weeks ive been reading many isekai'd villainess type of stories and i can say that this one is one of the BEST.
At first i thought that it was really a fun to read series as i always laugh from all the meme materials and the Melissa being straightman. But as the story progresses, i love Melissa and her anti-stereotype responses (that's a given thou love love strong FL), the way they discussed about the feelings of a FL in monologue of Yuri. When we think it was nice being pursued by handsome guys with different unique personalities, Yuri showed how tiring it was and Melissa pointing out shits about them (like thaTV thing about the crown prince pushing herself to Yuri and Yuri can't say no because of the political power and ALSO ONE OF MY FAVE IS THAT ARC WITH JAKE'S STALKING CAPABILITIES because stalking should never be romanticize ah how i love Melissa talaga
Anyways, i love this series thank ypu so much for this. AND I FREAKING LOVE NINE BABIE. AM THORN BETWEEN YURI AND NINE BUT I'M ALL IN FOR BABI NINE. OR I JUST WANT MELISSA TO REST OMAYGUDNESS.
