Honestly the ml didn't really do anything wrong except not communicate and even then he isn't the problem/at fault like I can understand that the mc can misunderstand because he DOES have issues with abandonment and he is REALLY stupid/naive but he and ml never communicated except for a "hello" or "let's go to your/my house" and that's literally the most they would say to each other and if you think about they never even went on a date or even asked each other out they would just meet when they were going to have sex or if they just bumped into each other while working or going somewhere. The first meeting was mc running away from ml and then once he discovered he wasn't trying to kill him he and ml slept together without building any sort of relationship. They were barley even acquaintances before they were sleeping with each other and even now the mc doesn't even know anything about the ml, not where he lives, not where he works, not what he does for work not even what he likes and dislikes. I love our mc but let's not hate on the ml for thinking mc as nothing but a sex partner when neither of them communicated from the beginning (ml DID kinda with his actions like he ONLY contacts mc when he wants sex but again mc is a liiiiiittle slow when it comes to people so.....). Anyway I can't wait for their relationship to start developing and I hope that there is a LOT of smexy time with them (づ￣ ³￣)づ

The men in the village are all aware she's being abused and are covering it up, that's why they keep her hidden. Not only are they okay with it but are accomplices to her husband, that makes them all guilty so they're trying to hide their crime. The woman said most of the men are related so they probably care more about each other than their women, it's sick but also very common for men to justify abuse by another men they know
