I think they are trying to say that Hwan went beyond that for the cult and his family. When he was pregnant he said he didn’t know how to raise a kid and his man told him he wouldn’t have to worry about it. He worked endlessly to give life to his son and then he had to work even harder to regain his strength from almost dying. He was told he would never be able to fight like he did before but now he’s back and even better. He’s not only a leader, he’s utilizing his skills and refining his reputation. It doesn’t seem like demons have the same family dynamics either. He sons is very proud of him.

Hwan probably like a working mom, he maybe not the type to hand down taking care of the kid but he still love him it's just that you know how the seme would get jealous over his kid maybe it's hwan way to protect him and make their relationship better
