Yeaps. Osiris threats Seth by "stealing" Anubis soul, name, shadow and one more element I forgot, it's like taking the organs of a mortal but since he's son of gods... The point is that he does that in order to procreate a child with Seth. Seth, desesperate for Anubis life, agrees to do whatever Osiris wants, and well what happens after is predictable :(.

Isis curses Nephtys, Seth, Osiris and herself out of despite. Apparently she thinks Seth it's also guilty of Osiris cheating on her even though she saw how he raped Seth.
The curse is that none of them will have what they want. Nephtys wants to die, since she betrayed her family, Seth wants a family, Osiris wants Seth and Isis wants Osiris. So I think that has connection to Seth's personality towards everyone basically.
There's a theory that he was rude to his son 'cause he wants Anubis to become a god, which has sense since in order for Anubis to become one is letting go all of his feelings towards his father. That's what Horus told him.
About the mirror, Sekhmet put there the real Nephtys but we still don't understand exactly why (and when) nor she explains much about it. I guess it's gonna be explained on 2nd volume, or at least that's what I hope 'cause it was really confusing xD.
