the point is that they are getting back together but before that happens the guy goes through emotional pain and torture of being sorry to MC and MC saying things that remind him of all the wrong he's done and feeling like the scum of the earth yada yada before MC accepts him again. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Regretting and repenting his deeds is alright but them being in love is kinda ehh I feel like it wasn't really love but sympathy and guilt that made him “love” her you know what I mean anyway just an opinion though ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Me too, he made his mistakes and he deserves a redemption and honesty he isn't a bad guy he just had miserable circumstances but them ending up together isn't to my liking though, no matter what she suffered all her married life because of him (that's what she thought) so ending up with him reminds me of abandoned empress.
