I don't disagree with any of everyone's complaints but I just have a question.. how is what he did any different from what claude did in who made me a princess ? Like he treated his daughter like shit and favoured another girl over her despite him knowing that Jeannette is not his his real daughter and in the end and he neglected her and made her miserable her entire life and in the end when he got his first chance he executed her without any regret and watched her while she was being executed.. and he was going to do this shit all over again if she didn't catch his interest in the second time line .. and I know that all of you love claude .. so how is this any different from what rauve did ? Um, well you see I saw a video about how Claude grew up like from child to adult, I saw how his face and emotions started to change like a little music edit vid and it made me realize how truly sad his past it. Okay this story idk how to feel cause I read the book and honestly it’s way better than the manhwa. ruve was pitiful asf in the first life he was misled, poisoned, and betrayed sense childhood. He did love Tia but he just didn’t believe that Tia loved him back sense she always weared a emotionless face and never really said I love you to him he thought she only married him to have babies and use him and that she was power hungry. for him it was okay as long as she was by his side. so when the other chick comes in and she’s really warm to him and tells him she loves him. He’s feels better about himself. and the poison he drinks just makes him much worse. and in the end he kills the women he truly loved the most. honestly sucks for blue hair prince. but I honestly thought she would get revenge. yet in the end they fell for each other cause their soulmates.
they both did fucked up shit yes but they fucked up by one being poisoned and misled while the other one chose to lose memories of the person he loved
But rauve didn't receive any love growing up too and his father was always harsh on him though ?
SPOILER!! don't wanna spoil for you but athanasia in this timeline is the same athanasia from The first timeline but she lost her memory and was born again in the modern world then killed herself and somehow returned to her original world where claude but she doesn't remember any of this and thinks it's a novel
So in the end they are similar.. they both suffered in their first life and they both changed in the second timeline .. so I do think they are comparable
I also read both novels and I know everything about them and I do think you're right the novel is way better than the webtoon
Guys I want to clarify this I don't Like how Tia ended up with ruve and I think the art and the story got messed up after a while but I just couldn't Ignore this feeling about claude and ruve situations being a bit Similar and yet ruve is hated and claude is loved .. even me myself can't find an answer since I love claude .

I feel like the difference was really how they were portrayed in both stories. Claude was cold and unfeeling towards Athy but u didn't end feeling he was a completely bad person without hope. Ruve on the other hand was just horrible. We saw the rape, abuse, and cruelty that went on, which automatically would upset anyone. It also made him seem unredeemable to most

And don't ignore the fact that ruve was being drugged and poisoned for a long long time which made paranoid and mentally unstable.. He loved Tia very much but this Jenna kept filling his mind with the thought the she is cold and evil.. And was really cold to be honest and never tried to express herself properly to anyone and hated both ruve and jieun because she believed that it was her right to be the empress.. I am not justifying his actions but ruve WASN'T UNREDEEMABLE but on the contrary he just needed therapy and someone who cares for him.. And I just Don't understand why everybody hates second time line ruve although he was a totally different person who does not even know or remembered what happened in the first timeline.. I don't know man.. I really think that both of them had a very miserable life and died a miserable death.. And I really think he reedemed himself perfectly in the second timeline though.

Arien inherited her horrible mother 's powers and they call it ' Heibi ' but arjen has more imperial blood in him and in fact arien apparently is the last one of the heibi bloodline and that's why this green haired boy is looking for her . But actually the guardian is for both of them not just arien and I even saw someone saying that in the future he will be closer to arien than to arjen and you can see a hint of this in the manga poster .

The dragon actually is not a guardian. There is an arc where the twin met the dragon then it recognize their Heibi’s blood. Since Heibi is a being loved by the dragon, he transform into human and liver in imperial palace to protect both arien & arjen.
