I knew it... I knew the only way for him to actually get better was his mother. It was hard as she was not originally a bad person, but what she did to Inwoo was cruel. It was hard because Inwoo and her loved each other so much that even he cannot properly "hate" her. It doesn't change the fact that I didn't like her for leaving Inwoo with a scum man, but I hope Inwoo can become much better after talking and sorting things out with her. Not for the sake of "forgiving" her but for Inwoo to let go of his shackles and can get by without any nightmares each night ever again with Jiho by his side.
This is such a beautiful and meaningful read that I can never understand people staying just to read the 2nd couple when they barely even have any real plot/conflict. Im not hating on the second couple, but why even read this manhwa until this far if ur gonna hate the story progression made by the author and just want some fluffy time. I knew from the start that this manhwa is kind of dark and heavy. Inwoo's instability has been shown since the beginning of the manhwa with him divorced and wrote a novel with a twisted view on love and food. Some moments are unbearable to read sometimes but it was a part of their conflicts, part of their growth, part of the plot. It was meaningful.
Sometimes I'm wondering how hot the smexy scene will be if Doyoon was in his original body. I mean, the current Doyoon is also cute and pretty, but the original Doyoon hyung is... I think I have thing for manly, quite buff but not too buff uke ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

Everyone saying "Inwoo needs theraphy" clearly forgetting about the scene where the author clearly shows that Inwoo has been going through theraphy and psychological consultation for YEARS already. It was in the earlier chapter a d in the middle chapter. Whenever he was talking about his past, it was on his consultation session and unfortunately they did nothing to him so far. They need to heal what is deep inside of him by letting go and forgiving.
My speculation is, although it might be frustrating, the only way to escape his deep trauma is that he might has to come in terms with his mom. I hate mom too, but I guess that woman is the only shackle on his heart that made him overly anxious and unable to trust people's love to him, because she left him.
I.hope the mamhwa ends with Inwoo being able to taste food again. That'd be beautiful.

Idk, they have no chemistry to me, and it feels so forced. Our lithia doesn't seem like a person who would cry over a guy not sending her flower. She doesn't even know him that long. Eugene and Cain also suddenly appear MUCH less, like, the author is setting them aside to let Dan shines. And yet Dan still DIDN'T SHINE AT ALL.
It also doesnt make sense that Dan keep wanting to "kill" her and she kept saying "I don't mind" or "it's fine" with zero caution. What the heck. She even said she doesn't know much about dan since the beginning yet she acts like that... it doesn't make sense. And suddenly they kissed?? Like???

I kinda like how the MC is very calm and chose to talk. Like mostly, in thsi case the MC would chose to run away or raising their voice. I guess that was also part of MC's characterization. The way he still thinks of them as a family without considering them abusers, become shot with reality after hearing the trith from ML is also a very good way to express his submissiveness to the family because of the upbringing for over than 20 years. The way he can't be happy, the way he got reminded again and again that he is an "outsider" to the family, is very nice to see because it shows how kind he is inside too. But as kind as he is, the thing he was most worried about was just losing the only thing he ever had, and that was just a family that doesn't deserve to be called family.
Last time I saw a lot of people calling him stupid, I personally loves how complex his characterization is. The author is very good at this. He felt like such a 3d character to me.
Unggg... a good manhwa but the love is just not it... I can't feel MC's love towards any of the girls. At best, only his parental affection towards jia that felt truly sincere... the rest felt like purely a business/friends relationship.

I really don't know that people actually view Yamada that way... the take was actually pretty childish to me.
See, it's not like Yamada is not jealous at all, its just he is not expressive about it (he does get jealous with takaya but he is not childish), he has always been not expressive enough. And he knows that akane is an extrovert social butterfly that loves getting along with people, so he won't restrict her or shows his jealously. He actually fits Akane's personality so much by being like this, and if he is an overly jealous guy, Akane who has a lot of both male and female friends will get so restricted. He needs to have some kind of leniency towards jealously if he wanted to be couple with Akane in the long run. Remember that.
You guys said he doesn't have conscience, but Akane even have her old male friends pick her up from station to her house and ate at her place more than once (often). But it's fine anyways since Akane just views gim as chilhood friends. Yamada understand that so he didn't throw any tantrum. Also, Yamada confronted him DIRECTLY without making a big fuss through Akane, as he didn't want to make Akane feel bad.
And a lot of you guys said that it doesn't matter whether he saw Alex as a girl or not, she is still a girl! But it actually matters A LOT. If Akane keeps being like that, Yamada won't have any female friends though? Although before, Yamada once also said that he won't do anything that made Akane sad, and won't even interact with girls if needed, it's still not healthy.
While akane is being alllowed to have her own freedom, talking to boys, having a lot of male friends, Yamada is not allowed to have some? See, even akane herself thinks it doesnt make sense for her to restrict her boyfriend. Trauma or not, its her own problem. Thats why akane, while jealous, is not mad at yamada.
Akane is being consious of this, she understand her complax is not good for Yamada. And yet here you guys are getting mad over him for her somehow... It's like you guys have never seen a relationship that's not toxic before... where both sides are secure enough to let one another has a friend of different gender without thinking too much.
Even after showing male leads moment with Hana, Bohyung is still the sweetheart. Same with other drama/manhwa with better second ML, I can never understand why those MC chose and fell for the ML.
