I don't understand all the hate that Hanjoon get...? I mean he was never particularly "mean" and he is actually being honest back then when he is still not interested and now that he is interested. I do think that his action may hurt Jin, but it's not to the point he needs to get a long redemption arc although I think chase is quite nice because we prolly get to see Hanjoon spoiling out baby Jin. I know Jiho means well but I think instead of trying to understand Inwoo, he just... felt "sorry" and "pitied" Inwoo and that is so... sad. Imagine getting pitied by ur partner. In Inwoo case especially, being pitied for his entire life and hated it, but then again he kinda thinks that if it was what made Jiho stay with him... Like Jiho goes "poor Inwoo... I must do something to help him!" instead of "buddy, I can see your pain, so share ur pain and let's try to solve it yeah?"
This time I saw things more from Inwoo's side, I really can't defend Jiho at all for how he does things. I know Inwoo has been lying about his condition but it was obviously his insecurities acting up, because he isn't even sure Jiho truly stays with him because he likes him. I'm not even mad that Inwoo get so pissed off that he got unrespectful towards his partner, because he obviously has loses his mind.
I do not know what people wanted to see here. A wholesome, cute, innocent story? Like since the beginning this story is messed up. It's like fate is playing with them. A doctor become his patient's son, a fan become her idol's daughter, and the in love ill patient become their loved doctor's twin sister. A mother who always lie, a president who abandoned his wife and company becuase his idol died. Not many sane people in this series, so what's so surprising about a broken, psychotic man that kills the girl he loved because of desperation?
(Starting here is just my take on the story, and my wild guesses that probably even have 99.99% chance of being wrong) Knowing Ai's personality I wouldn't even be surprised if that is one of things she had in plans. I mean, her whole life is a lie. Ai is the center gravity of the story, because the important characters of the story are all the person that she loved the most yet lied to the most. Even the tile proved that, in the end aqua and ruby is their oshi's child.
I read lover boy and always hated how Jaeha is... so indecisive. I can understand that he is unstable but he always ended up hurting everyone close to him. I also kinda... hate the fact that he is so sex-crazed, as a bottom, yet tried to marry a woman. It made him even more messed up. So far, personally, I enjoyed the pure Jin and hurt Hanjun than messed up Jaeha and yandere puppy seme (i forgot his name). I hope it continue being a green flag story.
I really like their relationship dynamics, and I'm very hooked at Ilhoo's personality. I think I have crush on him...
