This story accompanied me in many life stages, I changed so much as a person in 8 years but then I would always come back to king's maker like a secret spot that makes me feel safe and warm. For me it has been one of the greatest bl of all time and I still think it is, I'm happy that I had the luck to read this story in my life and follow it for so many years, I'm happy that it received so much love that we were able to see characters that are so dear to me for such a long time and finally get their happy ending. This is a story I wish I could see animated. I hope that one day will come a time were such beautiful stories will get the chance to be seen on our TVs and not looked down upon because they have same sex couples, this story is so much more than just the adult romance between characters, so many tv show that feature straight characters having adult romance are taken seriously for their plot and received lots of funds to get made glamorously. I hope to be able to see something like that in my life and, again, thank you King's Maker.
Me (f) and my gf have a 11 years age gap, their relationship reminded me of us so much (except the drama with Mr. Lim not accepting his feelings right away). Yeoreum's friend is right, usually people tend to look at relationships with an important age gap weirdly because of creepy straight men that always go for younger barely legal girls (Leonardo di Caprio I'm absolutely not looking at you /s) but then, I think especially for homosexuals, these kind of relationships aren't creepy and different from other ones. But personally I know well another gay couple (they are our friends) were one is in his early 30s and the other in his early 40s and they are so cute that I want to puke rainbows, they have been together for 7 years. an 11-yr age gap between two people is fine but it really depends on when they met and got together. a 19-yr-old dating a 30-yr-old is wildly inappropriate regardless of gender, but when they're 35 and 46 it's not so strange.
