Reynold and the duke are also being brainwashed but maybe not as much as Derrick, bc boyhave sister complex, I feel at some point Reynold felt really guilty about how he kept it a secret about the necklace(I believed) and how Penelope was the one punished instead and for the duke I feel like he grew on Penelope, maybe that’s why the brainwash was not a strong as Derricks. He is acting on her brainwashing, just look at his eyes: they have a faint teal glow, apart from being more cooked-fish than usual. Also he has just a faint recollection of what happened, as if in a dream.
The same teal glow is in the maid's eyes when she brings Yvonne's cup, which is poisoned.
In my opinion, the brainwashing works on who has personal agendas towards Penny or doesn't have an high enough favorability: as far as I know Derrick's the lowest between all MLs, and doesn't see her as a sister, not to mention he feels guilty for losing Yvonne when they were kids, so he's the easiest to manipulate.
Same for Eclise, he wants Penny and won't stop at nothing so long as he can be near her and she'll depend on him only. I don't remember if he was brainwashed or just verbally manipulated, might be the latter since he's already batshit crazy. But I'm pretty sure Eclise had the teal glow when he found Penny near the incenerator where she was trying to destroy the fragment.
I'm not sure about Renald that one time in the garden: it might be that he had doubts toward Penny at that moment, and his favorability is not high enough to be considered "trust", so he got momentarely brainwashed but snapped out of it fairly soon since he does consider Penny as a sister who he must apologize to.
So far Yvonne hasn't been able to brainwash two of the MLs, Vinter and Callisto, the first because she never had a face-to-face meeting with him as he's hiding and on Penny's side fully (but has personal feelings for her, so they might be a problem if it develops into selfishness).
The crown prince is the worst candidate to brainwash, since he has the highest favorability, unconsciously loves Penny and trusts her as a person and partner. I'm sure Yvonne tried to when she met him outside the greenhouse, and failed miserably since he pointed the sword at her anyway.
