I knew ending will leave a distaste on my tongue; not because I didn't like it- WELL I DIDN'T, but more like, i just knew author would keep it open ending. Was it enjoyable? Uh no, because it needed Jeremy to have his own proper ending, Ian is well damned piece of shit himself and Jeremy didn't receive proper therapy and well just i dont wamt him with that guy.
Most of fhe time I saw Jeremy going thru his panic attacks, what i felt and wanted was, for him to die, because that was the only way for him to be relieved of his pain of being sexually abused by that bitchass brit pedophile and his guilt of committing a murder (trust whenever I saw that pedophile's face, and even that mask, made me angry, persistent like a parasite, like a cockroach, should have burnt his grave )
Now as for the other pedophile of our story- haha Ian, no i dont like him either- like father like son, at least ig Lilia's gentleness was passed to his dna for me to not stray too far (tho he already did bruh)
I feel Jeremy could have gotten better, were there any responsible adults around him- no not psychiatrists or teachers, but just around him, the place he was living in, but there were none- no maids or even Sharon or Natasha or maybe even Nadia, tried to help him which really made me feel bad for him. I understand for Natasha that she was threatened and scared of Greg, but Sharon or Nadia who said she was sympathetic, didn't understand what a 16 year old was and said that he seduced her bf, girl like your bf is an adult, Jeremy is the child, who should be responsible for a child who was sexually abused brutally, if not by a trusted adult that he accompanied? Thats what pmo about her, instead of being angry on your bf she chose to go for a sa'd kid, she could have been more mature but guess we cannot get good females in the story of '90s sigh
Pretty sure everyone's most hated character in this story are Greg and Sandra and same. But i feel i wanted more closure on their death- because even tho there was the tampering and the car being defective, i feel like Sandra talked about Jeremy in the car. I just dont know why, but I feel like she talked of him- and by talked i do not mean of Boston but about what Greg does to Jeremy at night— this is more or less my headcanon so take it with no meaning lol like even if Jeremy didn't tampered with the car, the chances are, they would have survived right? Not sure
Also i liked the art and imagery that was presented. URGH BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF STORY
