Is it weird if I enjoyed this extra chapter even more than the story itself? I mean, I DO love the manga, is beautifully written, but always leaves me with a feeling of sadness I can't really explain. This unexpected chapter (I say unexpected, cause I thought it was completed) dissipated all of that. It was great, they've both grown and even in the distance their love is still strong. I needed that kind of closure!
So really, thank you! I fell in love with these characters all over again!

I liked how the autor handled the trauma, and the pain after what happened to him... but I can't feel the happiness. It's too bittersweet, and therefore, I can't enjoy the story as a whole either. Too little time between the trauma and the resolution. Maki wasn't recovered. Maki was feeling unclean ("I'm glad I felt good", that sounds so bad, like he's an used object). He needed more time to heal, and we needed a little more of "fluff" after something so traumatizing.
As a traumatic story, is brilliant. But is far from enjoyable.
Oh God the uke is so cuuuuute silly couple ftw!
