The part where they were separated was too long compared with the rest, it left me unsatisfied. If only we could have seen more of their happy moments... I take it as that they have been apart for so long that they can't miss another second apart. But from what I can gather, Yuuki he has been reminding Akira constantly about his mistakes (from the fridge incident) I think Akira will constantly have that stab of guilt. But I don't feel as bad because Akira was with the gal for maybe 4/5 years and the rest was trying to find Yuuki and he wasn't even happy with the girl for those 5 years so it's a type of retribution also.
In my head, Yuuki just constantly reminds Akira and Akira will regret those years forever. But I'm happy that Yuuki is at least happy now.
