Why are all the elders of families like this? Even if you don’t like the damn kid, once they get out of ur control it be way better to leave them alone and retain the same power you have now. Plus the MC is the youngest in the family, the time it take for him to properly become the new patriarch would be long as hell. Even the first kid is in like what? His late 20s? And he isn’t close to inheriting shit. The mc would still take like 15 more years to inherit the family and even longer to stabilize it to the point he could have time for the elders. I get some of them aren’t old enough to have the mentality that they’ll be at the end of their lives by the time he gets the family but still. It just seems really inefficient

I was hoping she wouldn’t be 18 but bruh, that man is a cool 50, don’t lie to my face. The MC also looks and acts like she’s in her 20s.
The series is really a nothing burger. Like you have to be INTO old men yk? Old man fucking can’t be done out of obligation, you gotta do it for love of the game. It be so reasonable to give her daddy issues too but nah. Authors scared of making an actual old man, 33 is like a couple years into an office job age

The fiancées stuff ended kinda ok with Erin and Henry.. but they completely dropped the story they started with Caroline confessing to the MC about how everything she was doing was based on detailed instructions?? Idk it makes it feel incredibly empty when the MC and her guy are so happy throughout the story, but Caroline is being manipulated and a ton of men are getting drugged?? ╥﹏╥ Glad they didn’t victim blame them but yeesh… Poor Caroline, she’s being manipulated by the Count Bird guy, and even the MC started the conversation about the cookies by stating the game didn’t mention anything about them being drugged. Caroline wouldn’t have known they were that bad either until it was revealed. She just thought the men were falling for her cause of her plot armor. Idk man, she’s at fault for actively intending to make a lot of guys cheat, but also she’s a 15 yr old with personality issues and got manipulated cause she thought being the protagonist meant no one would ever approach her with bad intentions. Now they’re just brushing this all off and ending the crown prince’s story + the other fiances with “oh well. Haha they might never recover, and only Henry will cause he got force fed food by his close friends so he was weaned off of it” ??? And they didn’t do that for the crown prince?? I get there were class differences but brother. The king had full knowledge and tried to stop it but like, he just vaguely warned the queen and prince about them being dangerous instead of actively stepping in and doing the same thing that was done to Henry. With the king’s authority, he could’ve staged an incident too and completely banned outside sweets on campus until the situation died resolved??

They should’ve just drew out the first half of the story for a lot longer. The school arc rn is so unnecessary and boring. They spent all that time establishing the demon king and all of the MCs friends and then just pushed them aside for another arc where she’s now everyone’s therapy doll to say sorry to instead of the real Egg, and she can’t say anything about their horrible behavior

They’re both assuming Olivia still loves the guy and is doing this out of petty jealousy but it’s actually working out in everyone’s favor? The crown prince’s side chick is gonna get the authority of the crown princess to-be, and so will her family. Olivia gets to be with the duke, even if they push her to move out (which they can only really do by threatening her reputation but it’s already bad + everyone knows they’re promised to be married. Grace period or not). And Olivia’s sister now doesn’t have to get involved with the Crown Prince even while the imperial family assumes their loyalty is at the same level without that leash, so in the future her sister (and maybe the brothers) will have a chance to go against all of that to help her in the future

MCs kinda dumb as rocks at times when it comes to her human relationships skills but tbh she’s been severely isolated and manipulated all her life so I’ll give her a pass. The romance is really nice plus it’s refreshing that he feels really guilty about the past even though he was a victim of circumstances too

All of us in the comments are that cliffhanger holding hands and begging the author not to revive him or some shit. It’s such a common trope to cut to villains like Ashel again 20-40 chapters later when there’s a new conflict and showing him making a deal for a second chance at like. Let his ass be DEADDDD

Bianca deserves so much better. She probably didnt even do anything in the original and it was all a misunderstanding. I mean look at how easily she confessed plus someone is CLEARLY trying to kill the Red Haired Girl and her mom, and given how terrified she is of any kind of death it likely wasn’t her anyways. The book takes a lot of things written how Ricardo would think of it. It’s chock full of bad interpretations of Bianca and it’s really messed up. Her and the crown princess deserve a nice peaceful love story together, but I doubt she’ll be with anyone but Ricardo even though he doesn’t appreciate her at all. Even as of the latest chapters, he doesn’t ACTUALLY like her. He just sees her as the most ideal wife for what HE wants, and he’s just settling for her since he can’t abandon his duties and go live somewhere quietly without responsibilities. (╬￣皿￣)凸 more than anything THEY DONT HAVE CHEMISTRY!!! Not that Bianca and the crown prince have that much chemistry either, but he at least has a clear view on her and his feelings. Considering Bianca’s type is loving and caring guys, she could fall for him with more contact and good writing. But as of right now I’m dropping cause there’s not even an attempt to make anyone believe Ricardo likes her romantically. Even if he DID, they aren’t suited for each other since he’s the type to judge on first impressions and surface level stuff. Wdym you knew the girl for 10+ years and just settled on deciding she’s selfish and bitchy over ZERO evidence. （￣へ￣）

This is pretty awful, a super good background and starting setting that’s just ruined by none of it actually following through. Every main character is incredible insufferable besides the 1st princess and the MC ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

How are they both so unlikable?? they’re like opposites in the way they can love the MC but both sides are really unlikable. Either you have possession and arrogant love born out of assuming she’d fall for what you can give and then when he learns that she doesn’t care about that he’s still like well why can’t I just FORCE her. The Prince only stopped when it would literally risk the entire country if she and her family left because of him. Then the butler is just… incredibly fucking weird. He’s more my type but it doesn’t stop that he’s an absolute weirdo who’s freak cannot be matched, at least there though the MC fully knows how to control him and get him to act how she wants him to. Plus ultimately his aggression towards ppl coming towards her benefits her since she doesn’t really wanna be near other people who are aware of her abilities Σ( ￣□￣||)
