Why is there a terrifying and realistic stalker in the middle of my romcom??? I know it’s to parallel/foreshadow the fact that they’re obv gonna reveal later how the king tore apart the MLs older brother’s marriage and took his life cause he wanted his fiancee so bad, but like this is just weird and it completely ruins the vibe. It be a lot better if they did that reveal before the wedding then have the MC meet the prince and become his target right after so everything isn’t happening all at once
There’s no angst like normal series with this plot. It’s just a really really cute romcom.
He has no expectations for fiancés cause they kept being upset when he wasn’t like how they imagined him to be based on his looks. But MC assumed since she hadn’t seen him and she’s from a poor barony that he’d be like 80 or a murderer, so she can see him for who he is without the bias.
It’s a really good romance too cause they just genuinely really match each others freak and vibe with each other. 10/10 ヾ(☆▽☆)

The pacing of the story is a bit weird tho? It feels like the author is struggling to juggle the apocalypse setting, wanting there to be casual slice of life moments, and also having romance. The story HAS potential but the immaturity gap is freaky. She’s completely unaware of how to have long from communication with someone in a romantic sense. Like it’s ODD, WEIRD. Like the MC is smart asf she could learn IF she was taught but the king is supposed to be doing that but every time the king is with her he just has sex with her. (︶︿︶)＝凸 This wouldve been better as a transmigration thing or just hold the smut until after she can understand complex emotions and the culture surrounding sex
