Well u can see in that scene where he touches her face the swords that yatori uses are with the two of them. The princess has the long one and he has the short one. So I assumed that she wasn’t alive or at least in any condition t fight so...makes sense. My guess is carrying a kindered soul statement in the end refers to yattori but idk

Athy will receive a hairpin given by Jenette but the hairpin has dark magic in it which causes Athy to 'puke' blood and knock out, Jenette didnt know that the hairpin was evil since it was Claude's 'deceased' brother that made her get it so she didnt know anything about it or his evil intentions towards Athy. The last raw finishes with Claude about to know what happened to Athy :(

Oh my god so I heard that the manga turns the entire fairy-tale inside out. Now it seems like it's real with Jennette being mistakenly pinned for trying to kill Athy instead of Athy being mistakenly pinned for trying to kill Jennette. D: Hope Jennette doesn't get hanged like the fairytale Athy did!!!
After looking more spoilers it wont. But so little piece of me feels she die... because she didnt do anything about Athy's dead in their first life. And i heart she partiy causas her death... (I dont know she did conciously ör not but when king feel bad about Athy , Jenette said him if something feel bad about him, dont much think about it .And Claus decide to ignore Athy...!) What a beautiful idea Jenette! I can beat you for prize!
