Bad translations, made worse by different groups picking it up back and fourth. Bad character building, made worse with inconsistencies in their actions. Bad romance plot, if you can call it that, she find out he’s in love with her and then the next chapter we find out they spent a bunch of super romantic nights together that we didn’t get to see until she’s reminiscing over them as she starts to distrust him. I hate how hard the author tried to make it some huge reveal that it was O who killed the parents, the back and fourth hot potato game for the blame was just all unnecessary to be written that way when we are in O’s POV. It could’ve been a much more solid story if they let us find out early on what she had done and how she was handling it and growing. Instead the author trauma dumps in the last 10 chapters for nothing. Does this author know what character development is?

Let me never read from this author again.

He wasn’t even the one to break up with the last gf, she dumped him. How am I supposed to believe he realized what he did was wrong when he was with someone else until the very end? Awful story telling AND character building. Remind me to never read from the author again

At first it seemed like he was just growing weak hearted and that’s why he strayed but then he turns completely around and becomes crazy. Kinda turned me sour a bit, I like it when stories make you have empathy for the bad guys so I thought that’s where it was heading but they kinda bulldozed the foundation they’d set up.

The ending ruined everything. Lol what garbage. It was such a cute story, there was no need to tear them apart in the very last chapter. Her calling him a “a friend” in the last few panels was a kick to the gut.

How can the stepmom say she was wishing for Mao to leave and they just glaze over it… this is on the top end of my faves list but that part is sticking with me in a bad way..

He said “sung do is in prison” and I thought he was talking about So Dam and I was like “girl what did you do??” LOL

There were like a total of 3 chapters where it hinted to her developing feelings for Kang and the sunbae and then bam the end. This either had really bad build up to the ending or was supposed to have more and couldn’t so the jumped to the end. Very unsatisfying to read for me, I never felt any heartache from her, only when kang saw her getting confessed to and then nothing else.

Someone needed to give her the boot. I hate that the MC went soft on her
