Cuz MC never pretends to be a dude, right? Everyone acknowledges she's a woman and she has to face all the challenges that come with being a female soldier, and what she does isn't exactly...crossdressing, right? Isn't it more that there isn't really equipment designed specifically for women?

late reply, pauli hid her gender initially when she was still in the previous army (not the emperor army), it's very important for her because female unable to join the army normally so it's a valid background story.
gender-bender probably not the right genre, but can be used as a tag. so it's not completely wrong since mangago doesn't have separate tag for something like this

I mean, "Sweetie, sweetie, sweetie" is somehow worse than your generic isekai title, I don't think that word is used even once in the story? It doesn't even have any fantasy/isekai flavor whatsoever, how am I even supposed to know what kind of story I'm picking up??? Might as well call it "read the tags and description you lazy mfs"
Argh, why am I mad at a perfectly good story for such a dumb reason??? ...well, I'm glad I found it tbh. And that it's probably ending soon-ish (right? I hope there isn't some temple arc after this).

Actually it was used once but that's , "Once", and the main leads themselves didn't like the idea of calling the other sweetie but maybe it'll change near the ending since they tried that sweetie nickname in the earlier chapters where they still felt a little awkward with each other, so maybe they'll be more comfortable with the nickname now

Still...what's with his personality switch pre-post evil book? He lost a lot of his silliness (probably to suit the tone shift in the story), but I don't see why he was all about retiring peacefully at the start when he was clearly working towards something bigger. Was it that he already took his revenge on the OG betrayers and had no clues about the book so chose to give up or something? Doesn't really match with how tenacious he is after the book reveal, did author just find a cool resolution to the story they wanted to tell?
I'm not complaining tbh. The author does a good job of making him competent and slowly driving up the threat scale. It never feels like he's unbeatable to me. Embarrassingly, I didn't pick up on the "third rate villain" thing being part of MC's skill/curse condition until he literally spelled it out for me. Maybe once this ends, I'll read a wiki or something to figure out what the actual overall timeline was like.

...well, it honestly doesn't have much in the way of romance or pervy moments as of chap 28 at least. At most it has a little too much male gaze centric art, but otherwise it's more like an action manhwa with a few romcom-esque scenes?
MC goes from powerless to OP in the very first chapter, so that steals away some of the tension. Also feels like MC doesn't have all that much of a personality besides 'hypercompetent/overprepared'. Also steals a bit of thunder from the girls due to him being too OP. I really hope they stop making the other charas irrelevant tbh - it'd be a lot more fun if he was more like a weakling most of the time who was the main stratergist for his OP friends or similar - or at least if he didn't outclass them in every way every single time.
I'm still interested in seeing what all the girls turn out like tho. OGProtag seems like she's pretty motivated and fun despite her baggage. OGBoss is your standard kuudere, but she also has her awkward charm. The chancellor is a bit of a creep, especially if she's hitting on one of her students - but I'm chalking that up to this being a harem for now.
Mixed signals are torture - please don't waffle with someone with the emotional capacity of a 7 year old
But she is rejecting him? Every time?...
And he doesnt understand social cues?
So there are no mixed signals. He is just childish and stubborn. And immature. Aunt her responsibility (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
