Honestly it’s so fucking dumb, maybe it was just an easy way for the author to explain the parents raising the sisters apart. But in what world is “she’s really weak/sick” a reason to seperate them to the point where she didn’t even know she existed. And the mum, is she weak too??? Or did she just completely avoid one child and put all her focus on raising one kid, like, Ik I’m not the only one who thinks like this. Even after Queen lady finds out that MC has the power of the next heir she still doesn’t even bother to visit in person. I like the dad, he’s a cutie, seems a little uhhh simple? But even tho I don’t know much bout the mum I don’t really like her already

Whyyy do authors love to do thisss?? Sides stories are meant to be nice and fluffyy, y’know maybe they get engaged, maybe they get married, maybe they straight up adopt a kid! if ya got lovable side characters give them a little love too, or dedicate a whole chap to getting down and dirty

Like, I dunno how to explains this. Bunny is obviously pretty becuase the art is great, I think everybody “average” in this webtoon are still good looking simply because of the nice art. Like, we know in the world of this webtoon that the main guys are considered good looking cuz we’re told they’re good looking (despite the “average” guys still looking handsome, eg the seniors). But at the start Bunny considered herself to be okay looking (like she wondered why they approached such an average person) but’s she’s actually considered pretty hot in the webtoon world.
Such a long post just to say, and this sounds pretty superficial, that I’m glad Bunny is actually pretty. I just like having a lovable and pretty MC y’know, without the whole “I’m just an ordinary girl (who’s secretly gorgeous).....” trope.
I agree with you. They try to make the "story" reliable to people by giving an average/dumb/clumsy/innocent MC that everyone falls in love with but that's not human to have all that and they just ends up being annoying.
Bunny is more human, she thinks that she is normal while she is considered pretty (just like you said), she tries to be nice but not too much so people doesn't use her (well, besides her ex-bf), there is rumors about her but she doesn't care about it (she doesn't dramatically depress over it for 10 chapters) but she thinks about it from times to times and she does her best at her major without being the best in all the fields.
I enjoy her as a MC, she is one of the best out of all the shojo/Jose I I've read/watched
I know psyche is repenting and hreatbroken going through her own shit but bOi I cna not explain how happy I am that she is finally figuring out much of a shit show Medea’s life is before and after she ran off with the prince. Like finally she is shedding off some of that naivety.
I just, I can’t put it into words how I feel for Medea. Like I know it’s not true but in my head I can help but feel that becuase Psyche is there for Medea to be compared to, everything is just ten times worse.
I feel that I’m repeating and maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, liek I KNOW real Psyche’s life is being targeting by the person she loved and she was trapped in a fucking basement, but i can’t help but feel that Medea’s the one getting all the short straws after this whole body swap. Even before the body swap she was going through so much but In no particular order; she almost dies and is the one physically having to deal with the prince’s plans, her reputation is constantly being tarnished without actually doing anything, her actual body bout to be sold off in marriage, she doesn’t even have anybody to rely on and can’t even contact anyone cuz she practically trapped and she also cant do anything cuz her body’s weak (but i guess real P had to deal with this). And then there’s Psyche just struggling to copy Medea and realising how much her ex best friends life turned to shit while she was off chasing love.
No hate to Psyche, I just really love Medea. Everything’s not really any of their fault.
