You don’t know how happy I was when a new (by new I mean the previous translator, the lone student that picked it up) translator picked this up and it was actually readable, I quite liked this story but those previous previous translations weren’t it (although I still appricaiate them, I wouldn’t have been able to read this series otherwise).
Thanks to the new translator group for picking it right up.
On another note, I dunno if it’s just me, but this series is a little confusing when it comes to showing who’s saying what, is it because I just don’t get dialogue flow or maybe becuase the bubbles don’t have those little things that points to the person talking.
Either way, I found that flashback scene with the convo with the emporer about “trapping her” a little confusing. Did he ask her to trap her but if he did why did he say “I can’t do that” unless that was here but she was the one asking why and he was the one getting cut off so the “can’t do that” came form the emporer
Ye maybe I’m just dumb

I know a good few spoilers (that I’m not 100% are true) for the story and most of they readers probably do too,
but actually seeing it plays out and seeing how absolutely enamoured and in love he is, I can’t not like him. I know a lot of people don’t really like the spoiler but realistically for this story’s era of time and the misogynistic views / laws present, it’s not completely unreasonable. It not like he even wanted to, but he’s the emporer and he has a duty

This chapter made me love Yeol so much. I-I can’t, he’s too cute. I just love stories where the man is so in love and absolutely adores the girl; where you can see their thoughts and they give “the look”, y’know the look, stare at her while she doesn’t notice with a loving gaze.
Ahhh I love him......deep down I still like Won for Bunny but damn Yeol is winning my heart

I agree with a lot of who are defending hyesung. Obviously he did somthing wrong, he shouldn’t have yelled at byul. but if you take into account his situations and all the points a bunch of people have brought up about him his stress due to college, the different culture around education in Asian countries and his general experience growing up in life, his outburst doesn’t come as a complete surprise
he’s just worried about his child’s development. He knows what it’s like to live below average in his society. Part of me also thinks that he might be worried that Byul’s slow development is also his fault as overall he’s thinks he’s not very academically good (idk how to word it )
Well not really an art change but
I feel like the Duke guy is extra good looking these past chaps, he feels manlier and just overall more handsome.
